It really depends on the draw for the SD unfortunately. If everyone skated their SD to the best of their capabilities, they could be in the lead by a couple of points, but P/C and C/L skating in the last 2 groups will get a boost just by virtue of skating later.
The thing in their favour though is that almost everything from this point on in the season is like a bonus - no one expected them to do so well, or get to the ISU Championships so quickly. And other teams will be skating under more pressure: C/L have to rescue their reputation, P/C are going into an event as favourites for the first time and they've never been able to handle expectations & showed it again at GPF. So, if (big IF
) I/Z can skate two good clean programs they have a chance, but even if they don't medal it's not a disappointment at all.

Is anyone else going to Stockholm? My friend & I booked tickets in a rash post Cup of Russia moment of euphoriaso I'm really relieved I/Z will be definitely there for us to cheer on!

I wanted to go but my friend who lives there is not going to be around during that period, so I gave up. It's too expensive for me. I'm going next season to Bratislava. A beautiful city and cheap.

Ohh. Maybe... I have already planned a holiday to Bern for the Artistic Gymnastics Euros but .. yknow, might as well. Never been to Bratislava before

You should come too! I am making it a point to go because I have never been to a big skating event. 98 Us Nationals were in Philly and I'm not to far from there. I always regretted not going. Boston in about a 5-6 hour drive for me and it will probably be a long time before Worlds is that close to me again, so I'm not missing the opportunity again! We could have. Ruslena fan club convention lol

Go Ilinykh/Zhiganshin!! Make some more miracles at Euros and with the help of God or luck (depends on what you guys call it) I think they even have a chance to win!! I don't expect this from I/Z, it will be too much expectation. But they will be Russia's number one, this is the only thing giving me bigger hope. Let's see what happens at Stockholm! Just podium will be very well too!!

Absolutely.
We can maybe open a new topic, here, in the fan section, with suggestions for them. So we have all in one topic. Otherwise it will be hard to find them.

Lol no one around here would go with me. I'm the only one on this house who loves skating. Except my 5 year old. She loves Ruslena's Carmen program and asks to watch it all the time. I don't think she would last through and entire event though.
