I would love for someone to skate to Clara Schumann's Trio for Piano, Violin and Cello: Someone who understands classical music and can bring out the beautiful nuances, maybe Denis Ten? I could also picture Patrick Chan skating to it, if he returns. I LOVE this piece.


ETA: I also love Valse Romantique(first minutes of this track), I wish a dance team could make a short dance out of this, but it may be too difficult, too different.

For some reason I can totally see Gilles/Poirier doing a crazy weird free dance to the music from Twin Peaks. Imagine Poirier dressed up like Dale Cooper and Gilles as Laura Palmer.

What about to "Come on Eileen?!" When I heard that song, I pictured them skating to it.

the beginning is a bit monotonous but it does get more to a crescendo so i think it can work. I would love to see yulia skate to it. The ending could make an amazing step sequence + chsq + spins combo. I could already see her skating in my head.

I saw the Rodgers & Hammerstein Cinderella on tour not long ago, and I thought the main waltz combined with "Ten Minutes Ago" might make a lovely waltz for a dance team, I'm thinking maybe H/B? Very bright, sweeping waltz, and I don't think overused- not to mention a gorgeous bit of music on its own!

I do not know who it would be best for, but I love Primavera by Ludovico Einaudi. Hannah Miller skated to it in 2013-14 and that was one of my favorite programs ever. I believe Kailani Craine skates to it as well. I'm thinking it might work for Zijun Li or Mariah Bell, but I'm not positive...
Also, I once wrote a story in which a (fictional) dance team did a free dance to Tarantella-could that work? A Hairspray ex/show program would be a lot of fun, too.

Ralph & Hill CAN used it, but I don't off hand remember any other dance team skating to it.

OMG I have so many ideas !!! It's always so frustrating when 90% of the skaters use and reuse the same 10-15 pieces of music

I want Yuzu to skate to the Doors again!!!!!! Or the Velvet, or the Stooges something likes that. Seriously, his Hello, I love you exhibition is one of the best programs I have seen imo. And i want him to do his LP on Totentanz. That would be epic
But tbh I hate POTO music and I adored his program nonetheless so... it doesn't really matter! Both his programs this season were masterpieces

I want Gabriella and Guillaume to skate to electro music. Something like Jaimie XX, Chet Faker or Worakls. That's also the kind of music they actually listen to! So PLEASE

And i want either Yuzu or Gab/Guillaume to skate on Air's "playground love" one day. Only them could do it justice i think. (Or Daisuke but it wasn't to be )

Sui/Han with their new maturity should skate to "in the mood for love" soundtrack and woo us

Liza or Lena should skate to Katyusha! and Anna to Bach-Busoni

Tatiana and Maxim should skate to Yann Tiersen "sur le fil"

Also I want Elena and Ruslan to skate to Bailando by Enrique Iglesias lol

Someone needs to skate to Scars of Time by Yasunori Mitsuda from Chrono Cross.

If someone wants to do a Latin/Spanish program while not venturing into Carmen, a routine to Vamo Alla Flamenco from Final Fantasy IX would be an interesting choice of music. Given the right choreography and skater, I think it'd be fun.

The Piano Guys did a very nice version of Swedish House Mafia's Don't You Worry Child with an Indian twist; I think Liza could do a nice program to this.

Someone mentioned Loreena McKennitt earlier and I 100% back them on that. Some options:

All Souls Night
Caravanserai
Marco Polo
And many more; she has loads of music...
