Jason Brown

Jason's SP from WTT

He got a new personal best score of 86.48. His TES record from TEB 2013 is still his best, but his new PB for PCS is 42.61. His PCS was second only to Hanyu and only 3.68 points behind him.

Go Jason!

Great performance from Jason. He looked a little nervous and tight, but he came through beautifully.

Can't wait to see his FS tonight.

:cheer: Jason

The jumps didn't come easy for him in the SP but he fought for everything and, as others have said, that Russian split was unreal.

I found a screen shot of it on twitter and his skates were almost to his shoulders

Go Jason! Go Team USA! :cheer2:

Imagine if he did a toe touch. Cause usually as a cheerleaders we have to use our arms and bend down to prepare ourselves to do a toe touch. So doing it by just jumping. Oh boy who know how high it can extend.

:jaw: Wow, that is simply amazing - his extension in that split looks higher than I've ever seen it! His legs look almost like the hands of a clock, as if they could just keep going. ;)

I'm not looking forward to getting up early again but am really looking forward to seeing a beautiful T&I tomorrow - would be so great if it's clean.

It's incredible.

Pure perfection tonight. I jumped straight up from my couch and applauded.

Stunning.

I am so happy he had an almost perfect skate! Looking forward to re watching after work when I can really enjoy instead of waiting for each jump.

These scores were not that far off his Nats scores!

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO PROUD of Jason!!!! I got so excited when I saw the score! I actually didn't watch the FP until it was up on YouTube but when I saw his score my mouth dropped open in excitement!

Congratulations Jason! :cheer:

I feel like the British Eurosport guys -- How good was that!

He achieved new personal bests in SP PCS, SP TSS, FS TES, FS PCS, FS TSS, and Total score.

His total score of 263.17 puts him 7th on the all time PB list.

The CCsp4 in the free skate (one of my favorite spins ever) received perfect GOE (again).

Here's his Russian Split from the free skate:

Does the total score count? Thr ISU didn't calculate it on its results page...

Daisuke Takahashi's total score from the 2012 WTT is his personal best, but since the points are being awarded differently this time, maybe the total score won't count this time. Still, cheers to Jason for achieving the score even if it doesn't count officially. :)

Just saw Jason's score!!!! That certainly was a nice way to wake up and start the day.

What's up with the edge calls? I vaguely remember him being a flutzer a while back but I thought he had corrected that? Anyway..Jason has delivered us a very enjoyable season and has done well for himself in terms of his long term goals. Can't wait to see what the future holds

The edge calls were strange. He hasn't gotten any edge calls since 2012-2013 JGPF . Maybe the TC wanted to have a little throwback. :)

So glad we have a clean version of that FS to tide us all over for the summer.

OK, just watched the top three men, and Max, and of course watched Jason again!

Proud smiles.

And along with what everyone else has said, how wonderful for Jason to be in front of a crowd that appreciates his skating! Thank you, Japan:cheer2:.
