They are doing it in Let's do it ex program and if I remember it correctly, there was a small peace of SP (on Sochi local TV) with entrance on 3FTh, so maybe they even plan to do it in SP (I doubt they'll do it because untill now all attempts of 3FTh I saw on youtube on shows were clearly doublfooted at least, or even with more serious errors).

Last night 3FT was perfect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAfW88LpUWI

Looks good but can't see - it might be touching with second leg or even double footed, can't say judjing by this video, can't see Tanya's legs during landing.

No, there somebody from one of the Russian figure skating forums who went to to watch the show last night, she said, all elements were done well and also about Tanya and Maxim being in a very good form. I'll try to find a small clip on Instagram, I saw Tanya landing 3FT from last night and today's shows without any mistakes.

Ah, OK, I just havn't seen/read that. Finally) I'm happy)

Yeah, I noticed that they were going kind if slow for their standards. BUT there's less preparation than D/R and Aliona and Robin, both of whom use that same "between-the-legs" technique.

Aliona and Robin had a slightly slow entry just on the 3F, mainly because he used to throw her with both arms on her waist (unlike their 3S, or 3A). But even then, they still kept their speed across the ice so the slow entry wasn't that bad.
D/R on the other hand have slow preparation in almost every throw (quad or not). they both just linger on the ice for 4 seconds at list, holding each other, waiting for the throw to happen. it's super distracting.

Speaking of Dennis Ten, I came across this old video on youtube about it and it features a couple of soundbites from Tatiana! (with Maxim standing beside her looking adorable) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8yVaAE1KxU - starting round about 2 minutes in. It's probably already been shared on here before, but it's just such a cute little clip

Thanks, Aceiel, for this little clip.

I wonder if anyone could help me figure out the meaning of a Russian word I often hear from announcers, from Maxim, re skating. Since I know no Russian, I can only present the word phonetically:

It sounds like “ka – tan’ –yuh” -- emphasis on the 2nd syllable. I know it doesn’t mean “program” because “program” in Russian sounds like “pra- gram.” So would it mean “competition,” or “presentation” or something along those lines! It’s been bugging me for a while, so I would love to know what it means. And it isn't "elements" either as the word for elements is sort of the same in Russian.

In this context, it means skating.

Nessie- figure skating in russian is pronounced "figurnoye kataniye". I don't speak russian, and my mother tongue could not be any different believe me, but i am able to read most of the words even though i have no idea what they mean. it's pretty easy once you learn the role of each letter. :)

Wow, thank you both, Abraxis 12345 and KinoriH, so much !!! I suspected it was something fundamental but I never dreamed it was as basic as “skating.” Thanks again. As for learning Russian -- at least the letters -- that's very appealing, though quite a journey to embark on!!

Nessie- learning how to pronounce the letters isn't much of a problem, as long as you're open minded and willing not to compare every single phrase or letter to your own language.
i started learning English when I was 9 and even though I had to idea what the words or letters meant at that time, all you need is to repeat them over time relentlessly until your mind is adapted to a new way of thinking.
the same with Russian, or Spanish. I can understand both to a certain extent l, and even read, but I can't speak or write fluently.

i think you're dealing with a problem that many native english speakers face nowadays. Since English has become the international language it is pretty hard to find the motivation to learn a foreign language because most of the time it has no use. I have many friends who deal with the same thing... :)
