Nessie- learning how to pronounce the letters isn't much of a problem, as long as you're open minded and willing not to compare every single phrase or letter to your own language.
i started learning English when I was 9 and even though I had to idea what the words or letters meant at that time, all you need is to repeat them over time relentlessly until your mind is adapted to a new way of thinking.
the same with Russian, or Spanish. I can understand both to a certain extent l, and even read, but I can't speak or write fluently.

i think you're dealing with a problem that many native english speakers face nowadays. Since English has become the international language it is pretty hard to find the motivation to learn a foreign language because most of the time it has no use. I have many friends who deal with the same thing...

Thanks for the clip. Tanya looks cool, classy, edgy and simple. And thank heavens she got to say a few words. She’s always so patient as others talk and talk and talk…!

As for studying languages, in fact, I have studied French, German, Thai, Hebrew and Arabic (very briefly) and Romanian of course. But I can’t really speak any of them! It’s been a trend in the US education system for some years now that the study of other languages is a low priority. I think it’s kind of sad. Lehitraot!

She says that they have just come from Denis Ten's show; that they are in good shape - due to participating in this show; now they are working at their new programs - Bollywood and Dracula; they also spend much time working at footwork and at pair elements and jump elements. Nina Mozer is on vacation now, they are waiting for her to come back, so they are working with Stas Morozov for now.

Then Tanya and Max skipped a year, didn't train, and the other pairs got used to me being with them all the time. Now Maxim comes back to a slightly different surroundings and feels as if someone else has taken his place in my life. But it's not so. Yes, the care and the attention are not a cake, they can't be shared in equal pieces; but surely I'll do my best so that no athlete in my group feels neglected. They are all different. I wish to make each pair in my group unique, with their unique style."

It's also confirmed in this article that Stas Morozov continues to work with them; besides, he works with a junior pair. He says that Tanya and Max are planning to do more complicated lifts and maybe jumps; but they won't do quad throws, and are neither planning to do quad twists (not clear, in the coming season only, or in general).

I’m glad that V+T are working on more complicated lifts, and perhaps more creative choreography. Some of their programs seem rather similar to each other. K+S had a number of dramatic moves in their World’s program – one where Kavaguti appears to faint in a spread-eagle leaning on his arm or leg, one where she drops down from a high point, head first , toward the ice, and the elegant spiral she makes on top of Smirnov’s spiral.

Is the difference between the Quad throw and the Quad twist this: In the Quad throw, the woman is thrown quite high and far and does 4 turns in the air, landing backwards, alone, skating away from her partner at some distance. The Quad Twist is when she is thrown high, but close to her partner and he catches her after 4 twists, and they skate away together.
Which skaters now doing these moves? Sui-Han, Duhamel and Radford? Peng and Zhang?

Re: V+T not getting enough attention from Nina Moser
When V+T won the Olympics and backstage were hugging a great number of people – advisors, I think, not relatives – it occurred to me that their win was a “team” effort. And later I read in an interview (with Max or Moser, I can’t recall) that this was in fact the case. Everyone on Moser’s team surely observed that V+T had reached extraordinary levels in 2013 and their chances of winning gold, not just silver, at the Olympics were realistic (if not written in the stars!). Moser and her team must have spent a great deal of time on every detail of V+T’s performance.
And I believe Moser called on the best of the best to advise on all angles of their presentation. I don’t know for sure but in the last 12 months or so before the Olympics Moser probably invited knowledgeable experts (e.g., someone like Tarasova?) to watch V+T’s two inspired routines and give their opinions. Can they do it? Can they do it? Yes, they can, was surely the response!
Now that V+T have achieved all expectations, they are “going for it” a second time. I agree with HermioneG who said on June 19, 2015 that the road is going to be even harder this time. In order to cover all her bases and prepare for the future, Moser must feel the pinch to get other couples ready. She really has her hands full so it may be that Max misses the all-encompassing attention he and Tatiana once had.

I only did a quick scan of the thread, and I didn't notice a link for the Pairs LPs. Perhaps you could check with Alba.

I couldn't upload all Pairs LP, individual competition (well I can but it will take me ages ), because contrary to the SP it's not one single file. Pairs LP are separate files/videos for each Pair. There are many and they're big files because they are HD quality so it would take ages to upload them all. I just uploaded few pairs and the idea is that anyone who wants to see a particular program/Pairs which isn't there I'll upload on request.

Yes. I would only add that making a quad, twist or throw, doesn't mean they're big. All those who're doing quads right now have smaller and lower throws and twist than V&T or T&M, for example.
You can execute a quad throw, for example, but it's small and not high like K&S, because you can rotate quickly. It's a bit like with the singles and their jumps. Younger girls tend to have lower jumps but they're quick in the rotation.

Nessie, I agree with HermioneG, about Tanya and Maxim being very busy. They did 3Tw successfully only today. As for Maxim being down-hearted, the reason was, that he went to his friend's wedding without Tanya, because she could not go for some reason, so he missed her so much, so he rushed to Sergey Bermeniev's exhibition in Saint-Petersburg, so he could see his beloved!

You're right about them being devoted to each other, Maxim went to Saint-Petersburg for one day only, but it still was too much for him. I wonder, how they managed to be without each other, while Maxim did a rehabilitation in Germany?

yes, it's a new show, which is called "Park On The First" and it's going to be shown on 1 Russian channel on 10.15 in the morning Moscow time. I wonder, if Tanya and Maxim are getting marry tomorrow or on Saturday?
