Sexual orientation a sensitive topic which can easily get out of hand and become an argument or outright flame war. (And case in point: there was a sentence in your original post that raised my hackles, Bangladesh, and only the knowledge that the topic is forbidden prevented me from replying aggressively.) I imagine the moderators have gone through this enough times with other skaters, and have seen enough threads deteriorate to have good reasons for banning it.

Two things:

1. I wonder if Yuzuru is excited for Japan because it's the USA vs. Japan game for the finals for the women's World Cup?

2. Who thinks that we'll never find out his SP until like August at this rate?

1. I think he will definitely be excited. I'm going off to watch it on telly, too :D

2. Do we know if Yuzuru is working with Jeff Buttle for his SP?

We know nothing.

I'm curious as to the last year, is it known when Yuzuru started to work with Shae Lynn Bourne on POTO?

August seems so far away...and by the way, how did Yuzuru reveal his LP last season? I wasn't on goldenskate until later, so I'm not familiar with this. Did he say it in an interview or was there a short practice video or something else? Just want to know what to expect :)

I think Shae-lynn posted something on social media last year but I can't remember when that happened.

edit: and there was officially a photo of the two of them together during the last day of choreography on Shae-Lynn's site. It was dated 30th May.

If I remember right first Shae-Lynn accidently revealed in one of the earlier ice shows to some fans in the audience that she would choreograph for Yuzu before it was officially announced. End of May she posted a photo with Yuzu on her blog and said she would do the LP for him.

But the music was only revealed around August through a Japanese article first, then some practice videos at the Cricket Club were shown on the news shortly after on the same day.

Sounds reasonable that we won't know it until August or even later. We know nothing about the SP except that he and his team knows it decide not to announce it yet. (I think during SEIMEI reveal, maybe at DOI media interview, there were reports that when asked about the SP, he turned around and consulted with his mom and some staff(?) and decided not to say anything yet.)

Thanks everybody. I'm trying to figure out whether it's possible that Yuzuru hasn't even started working on the SP. Looks like this time last year he had already had choreography for both.

The suspense of the SP is killing me, but I'm not too worried about it in the sense of 'it might not be good' because I've liked all his senior SP until now. As someone mentioned a few pages back, maybe he decided to perform the FS this years on the ice shows because he wants to see how he does with 3 quads in such. maybe he's confident on his SP and decided to give more priority his the FS with that insane tech content. It could be that he hasn't started working on it, but he does have the music chosen
I just hope the SP can be close to the epicness that SEIMEI seems to promise. :agree:

It would be funny if we are all here speculating about his SP and he decides to keep Chopin

I remember seeing an article a while ago that he would not keep either of his programs for the new season. He mentioned that he might revisit POTO in the future, but not this season.

Anothe reason he decided to perform his lp in ice shows could be he wants to perform his lp in front of the Japanese crowd first because it's a Japanese themed program.

From what we've seen, he didn't specify whether he would perform POTO, Ballade or both in the future again. Also, it wasn't comprehensible what for he would reuse it(them) for, he could mean just for EX.
Some translators just didn't take this ambiguity into account and translated how they felt about his statement. Not to offend anyone.

When I read, that, I couldn't help but wonder if that meant he's thinking about using any of those programs for the Olympics season. After all, he wanted to do POTO for Sochi, IIRC.

Welcome back Alia!!

lol. you were speaking of Latin program that I instantly recalled the moments .
He is too cute to perform it at that time but we know that he has matured so if once he decided to do it for his programs he will be able to pull it off well... who knows.

de quem são esses gif são lindos ..Yuzuru se divertindo ..amo!

Below are the consolidated info shared for the 3 shows by Newbiespectator, Hamaguri, KansaiPJ, hb2010 and tumblr. Each show has its own highlights. How I wish we can have the broadcast or videos of all the 3 shows. Whatever they chose to show, hopefully they will include a bonus segment of highlight moments for each show....especially Yuzu's speech :cheer2:

Show #1:
- SEIMEI: Yuzu did 3turn into a 4S, 4T, 3F, 4T (save), 3A-3T. Best clean SEIMEI so far.
- Pianist Fukuma played Ballade No. 1 when they fixing the ice. Yuzu in a sweat suite came to the rink side and was dancing until the end.
- Finale jump battle: 1lo, 4Lo sucess!
- Yuzu got the mike at the end and apologized to the audience about the delay...Javi stopped and gazed at yuzu with a truly tender smile on his face.

Show #2:
- SEIMEI: 1S 4T 3F 2T-2T 3A-2T.....the steps and choreo are better than ever.
- Finale jump battle: Many people fell in the finale jump contest. Info from nonchan1023...Yuzu did not succeed in the five 4Lo attempts.
- Yuzu made a beautiful speech that touched many people about the earthquake and rebuilding.

Show #3:
- Opening 4T clean
- SEIMEI: 4S (step out) 2T, 3F, 4T-2T, 3A-3T
- Requiem: 3Lo, 3S
- Finale: 4T ....and at the end Yuzu did a collaboration with the pianist to Chopin-just the steps. Everyone thrilled.
- From tumblr Yuzu imitating Jeff’s Uptown Funk at rink side...this info still to be verified.

Thank You! è nice to have all INFORMATION ~ ion summarized .. love to see Yuzu dancing if true:

If he does go for "Uptown Funk", it would be amazing :cheer2: Although there is speculation that he might go for something a bit more familiar than SEIMEI for his SP, if Jeff is the choreographer, it might be something totally different?

I do wish it's Jeffrey who'll do the choreography for his SP for the coming season whatever the program may be. I can't think of a program that Jeffrey has choreographed that I didn't like. :)
