you are right. she should be professional as announcer, but she was totally overwhelmed by yuzu when she saw him face to face and couldn't speak properly! (thank you @maria. bless you, Eid:)!)

I guess it doesn't matter how old one is in order to fan-girl and lose their cool when seeing Yuzu face to face :hopelessness:

3A combinations in SP are disallowed despite I don't know why since points wise it would be the same as 3lz3T or 4T3T so he will have to do 4S3T or 4T3T

that's a really strange rule

Thanks Everyone for the info and links.

I see, thanks for the info. Much as I love his quads, I'll miss seeing his triple axel if he won't be able to include it in his SP. :( I understand though that he'll want to do the most he can points wise within the rules.

oh no, 3A will be there, I just said that 3A in combinations are not allowed in SP so his layout will have to be like : 4S3T, 4T, 3A or 4S 4T3T 3A ;)

Question about yuzu's hight.
this is a photo when he visited the city hall of nagaoka the other day. the man next to him is mayor of nagaoka.

I read a tweet said that mayor is 177cm tall. yuzu was just a bit smaller. but yuzu's official hight is still 171cm (announcement of July 1, 2015).
He's a bit smaller than Javi, Johnny and Stéphane who are 175 cm, but I think he gained a bit since 2010, so I'd say he's 173 cm. 4cm is not that big.

Here's the full video with measurements for Madame Tussaud's

Let me know if it was already posted :)

Yuzu was just adorable. His body shape is perfect:love:

Thanks. I’m thinking about his height:laugh:. The comparison with others is a good way!

What fitting music at 1:50  Yuzu cir. 2011

Didn’t they know about it? It was a good coincidence:biggrin:.

Can somebody translate what he said about Shoma and Oda please?

He said all the skater were in a good relationship. Shoma was like his little brother. And for Oda even though he is the younger one he called Oda's name directly. (This only happens between good friends back in Japan.)

Hi, I want to share my story tonight.:yay:

Do your remember pianist Fukuma Kotaro, a musician at FaOI Kanazawa and Kobe? At Kobe, he played the ballade in the accident of the ice, which led to the collaboration with yuzu the next day. @Newbie introduced his episode making translation and posting his facebook in English. Some of you were impressed by him.

Tonight, I went to his piano concert. It was a salon type concert in a small room. He didn’t use a mike.

I was fascinated with his piano at FaOI Kanazawa. Tonight, he planned to play Chopin, so I was expecting he would play ballade No.1 or talk about figure skate.

To my sunrise, he looked a lot like yuzu! I was in the first row, and he was right in front of me. His every gesture, the way he bows… Just like yuzu. Most of all, the way he spoke! The tone of voice, accent, pose, words he uses.. All of them, just like yuzu. I’ve never seen a person who is similar to yuzu to such a great degree. I was only astounded.

Then, about the program,,, Yeeees! He played the ballade No.1 as encore together with a talk about FaOI and the corroboration with yuzu.
Listening to the melody, I couldn’t stop tears and covered my face not to make a sound. I thought that I’d listened to it many many times during the last tough season. The tune reminded me of thousands of things, this yuzu, that yuzu...

But the story didn’t end there. Next, he played “Firebird” accompanied by the episode that a firebird is said to bring happiness. It was arranged for piano on his own, and was a just amazing piece.

We knew yesterday that he’d said goodbye to ballade. Ballade has gone with unfadable memories… And then, firebird came and flew high up in the sky! Isn’t it wonderful? I was so excited!

(And another thing… After concert, I had him sign on my CD. At that time, I said to him that overseas yuzu fans spoke well of him and I was proud of him as Japanese. He smiled shyly. He was reserved, and just humble. :))

Now, my wish is “The broadcast tommorow will include that miracle collaboration!”:cheer2:

I too really hope that they'll broadcast it. :cheer2:

The angel one is stunning!!
The game one is funny!!

Why do I have a feeling that JAPAN will produce a game for Yuzuru Hanyu? Like one where he (the character) had to avoid obstacles or make flips, axles and etc.? Not so far in the future, is it?
Or maybe Nintendo needs a little push to make one?:cheer2:

I'm so excited to know about his sp!!! Last time it's poto which was not released until like almost the start of the season and now it's the sp!!
Any last guesses on what kind of music he might skate to?

Now I don't know what blog I ever saw that certain video where the editor did Hanyu's 2012 worlds "etude " set in JIVE! and he worked it!
Yuzuru's that amazing! His routine fits to this speedy music!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFUNqo558Q4

SO he could go with LATIN. Hell, he can go with anything!:points:
