Sensational like Yuzu riding a penguin?
Are these magazines popular and do people take them seriously or is it like the US's tabloids which are mostly for laughs?
I guess they would say something like Yuzuru and JSF have conflict because Yuzuru wants to keep Pooh around but JSF is against it. Ha ha just kidding.

His childhood dream was to win an Olympic gold medal. When the interviewer asked him which Olympics he said the Olympics after Vancouver :)
Yes!!!! He said multiple times that he's aiming for gold in sochi!!! And he did it!!!! Wow~~

Thank you! I actually thought he wrote down his dream under his drawing of the World :) It was cute to see little Yuzu's drawing. It looks pretty good for his age.

About the earth drawing, it seems he drew the earth and made the continents the alphabet. Can anyone clarify on this, I didnt quite understand.

Yes, I was wondering the same thing. He was so cute playing dodgeball on the playground! I'm an elementary teacher and I see little boys playing just like this every day. :cheer2:

Thank you for reading my report. Your comments are touching. I’m glad he finished his show season with great performance. Yuzu, Otukare-sama-deshita!:cheer2:

@yhmafan, Cultural exchange among countries is really wonderful. It’s been done historically, and it will be more active thanks to the developement of IT, transportation or so.
Some girls can use several languages, their mother tongue, English, and another language… I’m jealous of them:laugh:.

@SuzyQ,,Thank you! I’m always surprised that some of fans have many treasured images.

Yeah, yuzu in PW is soooo cool.

Can anyone please help and check if they ship them abroad? And if they do could you please include the link to the purchasing page?
Thank you!

Looking at the check out page, they don't include a "country" form, only "Postal","prefecture", and "city". So sadly, I don't think they ship internationally  however, if you wait a little bit, you can defiantly find a resold shirt in good condition online!

It also seems you need to get and check your "application" before buying. Not sure what that means, or how a TV charity works but that complicates things doesnt it?

After this comment, I remember he was asked his age at the Olympics after Vancouver, and he replied, "I will be 19 at that time. 19..... Nearly 20 years old (sigh)."

SO CUTE HE WAS! :drama:

Now you are 20, Yuzuru. Time has passed so fast. In any case, it's amazing without a doubt that you have realized your dream. How about your marriage at your age of 25-26. I'm sure your fans all over the globe will remember it

KansaiPJ, hamaguri, thank you for your reports of Nagaoka shows. They are such great information for us who could not be there :agree:

Wow! We were there for the same show. Cool. Thank you so much Hamaguri for this detailed report of SEIMEI and REQUIEM. I completely agree about the contrast in style between HANA HA SAKU and REQUIEM despite being related thematically. Anyway, very well written. Thank you again! :cheer:

We were there, too! Me and my 9-year-old daughter who just started to take figure skating lessons in Taipei, Taiwan.

It was a night the both of us will cherish forever. Thank you KansaiPJ and Hamaguri for the wonderful and detailed reports on the event.

My daughter and I stayed at Nagaoka after the show for one night, and then took a two-day trip to Sendai and Mazujima. It was quite fun to visit the two places and to skate at the Sandai Ice Rink the day right after we saw Yuzu's performances! Sendai is neat for visitors for its convenient traffic accessibility and exotic local food choices. (yeah the food there was exotic even for us who eat stinky tofu and chicken claws :) ~~~ We even had a beef tongue lunch box with a mysterious string underneath which was meant to be pulled right out and produce heat so that the meal can turn steamy and warm.)

Mazujima was once affected by the tsunami. We could still see the impact from the torn building of their local aquarium. Some shops along the shore had the tsunami flooded mark on their walls specified. The sea-side town was both cute and gorgeous so much that we decided to visit again for we only stayed there for a few hours.

@Margaret, so happy that you and daughter enjoy the show especially watching Yuzu live and also visiting his hometown and Mazujima :).

Here are the interview clips
- 11year old Yuzuru talking about his Olympic dream.......the translation gif
- And the reply on his age at his dream Olympic after first talking about producing both men & ladies Oly champion from Miyagi. (screen capture)

Despite the challenges of Sendai rink closure for a period of time and the earthquake his dream did come through. Also at a very young age Yuzu already has an amazing interview skills with articulate and well thought answers :cheer2:

Hi there everyone,

Just want to ask about Yuzu's counter 3A entry which now closely associates with him. Is he the first one who do such 3A entry? Are there any other skaters who did that move before? Similar with Yuzu's spread eagle-3A-spread eagle at CoC SP last year, is he the first one who did it? I'm really curios.

I don't know whether if these questions already asked here or not. This thread moves too fast, even during off season :p

It's so great to see that a goal like that for him came true. :') And the comparison of when he stated his goal and when he won Olympic gold is so precious.

Yuzu is not the first to do a back-counter or spread eagle on a 3A, however, I do think he is the first to do a SE-3A-SE. Although he is not the first to do these things, he makes the jump look so easy, and the 3A its self is not an easy jump, so to be able to do that and have such a difficult entry is amazing! And don't forget his consistantcy! I cant think of anyone who did a counter 3A though, I cant remember everyone who did a spread eagle 3A but off the top of my head I know Kulik, Honda, and if I remember correctly, Shoma did one too

Yea it is amazing, I remember when I first watched him without any technical knowledge at all, I was wondering why his jumps are so easy (no offense, and pardon me for my utter ignorance at that time), it was a little later when I looked up about jumps to realise that his jumps and entries into them are so so so difficult!!! But made them look so easy!!
