IMHO, Ruslan is absolutely wonderful for her and I can't wait to see how he continues to improve. I think he presents her and matches her, in many instances just as well if not better than her former partner.

I would love that. More competitions the better and it will help them with the ranking also.

I am a massive fan of Elena with whoever she skates, so I feel my comments are appropriate.

It drives me nuts when people put Paso Doble, Tango and every Latinamerican dance into the "Spanish themed" category.

You must be pretty disappointed in all the current teams as I/Z have by far the best match of skating skills of any currently competing team. Ruslan can out skate any female ice dancer that isn't Elena. As for his presence, I watch him just as much, and sometimes more than Elena, so let's put that down to difference of opinion.

Also, not only is Frida Mexican, it is supposed to be a modern program blending many styles of dance.

I think Ruslan has amazing presence and partnering skills. He knows when to hold back and let her shine, but he isn`t shy in coming forward if the program asks for it. That´s one of the reasons I loved their Carmen SD so much.
