Midi skirts are currently in and Mao pulls it off great, can't wait to see her at the Japan Open.
And Tatiana is very eccentric and sometimes I just don't understand her but her words for Mao are so kind, I'm also really touched by the letter she got from Kyoko before she passed away

How can I describe that? It was like the shortest 15 minutes in my life
and she looked like a skating goddess to my eyes. (I’m a bit tearing up again….)

Thank you so much for sharing. All of her step sequences are gorgeous. I love them all, but my favourite ones are 2013-2014 Nocturne, Rachmaninoff 2 and both Masquerade Waltzes.

In my opinion Tatiana pushed Mao out her comfort zone and made her a more complete skater. I know some Mao fans were not fans of some of the music Tatiana chose for Mao, but I for one loved them all. I think some commentators made a point to say those pieces were too heavy for Mao and at the and many fans believe it. But I was watching some past performances specifically 2010 worlds, she was feeling every note, every beat, she became one with the music.
