I absolutely love Dmitri, but I don't agree that he is "the only hope"...did you watch Adian at all?

I think after the first pose she did a twist into Ruslan's lap. I see Ruslan's blade slipped before the entry of second lift but he held it the lift. I want to see this dance in HD as well. Most of the time I didn't hear music very well in video.:disapp:
Swan pose and second part of the combo lift where she is upside down pose is just beautiful.
She must be worked on her lines.

I like I/Z Free dance more than sp. it has a potential. I like the mood of the dance. What I don't like is old lift (but the second part of it is nice). And I had a feeleing that they wanted to get to the PC territory with all those "modern" choreo. I also didn't like all those typical Kustarova's "throw the girl on ice".

I'm not sure about the music cuts but they're looking so great, I hope they'll have a succesful transition to seniors

Sorry, they only proved what we already have known. From the Great Gatsby OST you can't make a solid dance. Because the music itself doesn't have the mood of that epoch, it sounds good in the movie but not on the ice. And the same music cut again and again(

Anyway, I finally watched all the programms and dances.
My absolutely favourite was Bobrova/Soloviev SD, I think they skated it with power and maturity, which Masqurade waltz requres. I was really impressed, new lift looks very cool, and overall they delievered, IMO. Very nice choreo and transitions, I'm very happy, honestly. And Katia looks fit now, thank God
My second favourite were Yanovskaya/Mozgov, who I believe will probably be in top 3 on russian nationals next year at worst. Very beautiful dance, with almost non-stop transitions. They didn't go full force and full speed because of Anna latest minor injury, obviously, but I'm glad they didn't miss test skates at all.
I'm sorry, but I/Z dance doesn't work for me, especially that last 'We will rock you' step sequence, it was a hot mess. I'm not going to say anything else. Maybe it'll grow on melater, I hope so. But I think they will get pretty good PCS for this dance, it's certainly was entertaining.
And russian girls were AWESOME. I liked almost everything. Yulia absolutely sold her programm to me. I'm ready for the Great Comeback.
I said it two years ago. I said it last year. And I'll say it again now. The real #1 dance team in Russia is going to be Y/M.
It's going to be a Battle Royale for that third dance slot isn't it?
Alas, and this isn't only a Russian phenomenon this year, the SD is going to resemble an Ingmar Bergman film festival. A traditional waltz would be positively avant garde in comparison. I have a feeling that the SD at World's is going to be like eating a tubful of lard. With--courtesy of the Cinderella-esque programs--a meringue topping. Oh yum.

They do look good! Really good, nice and deep edges, a lot of transitions. And somehow they sold even this kind of music to me

Ugh I was really looking forward to Y/M but the music :disapp: It was like three separate dances zzzz and just came alive in the last section.After their fantastic Tango last season too:disapp:
Hope S/B bring it with their Barcelona!
