I really really like B/S's FD. They've lived with those characters for a year and it shows, the interpretation is great. I'm loving the choreography as well. When I first saw the FD a week or so ago, it felt, for lack of a better word, meh, but the way they skated it now... :love:

I can tell this is gonna be one of my faves this year.

I'm kinda glad that she's going to be very limited in the number of competitions she does because it means that program will be done minimally. The sad part is - I don't think she means for that ending to be so comical.... which is bad.

I liked Adelina's program and her new costume is nice too. I hope her back heals soon. I LOVE Anna's Scheherazade! Already looking like a masterpiece on par with her Firebird last year. If only she could perfect the jumps now...I found Yulia's program beautiful but unfinished. She will need to work on the jumps as well but it's definitely coming along. She's definitely matured. I can't remember Evgenia's program at all, aside from the fact that the jumps were amazing as usual (same as with the SP). Love her movements though. I can't stand Liza's program...it's really awful compared to her great new short which suits her well. Jumps are obviously flawless but the rest of the program is just so boring. She deserves better. I know everyone hates Elena's new program, but I actually thought she performed it very well despite the music choice. It's a step back from last year for sure though.

Russia really needs to try using choreographers that aren't Russian, the only choreography that I enjoyed was Sotnikovas, and Medvedeva is so naturally graceful and she actually sells it... Honestly, Elizaveta should have done something similar to her program last year. Julia, honestly, I don't see her moving up in the standings. Sure, incosistency gets the best of her but all that aside, even if she were to skate clean, her jumps aren't really that great, and her PCS wouldn't be enough to keep her up there. Pogorilaya is the one who really makes me most frustrated because she has so much potential but she just needs to switch coaches!! And Radionova should have honestly at least kept her short from last year, that was an amazing program!!

And you know what, good for her. This used to annoy the bejezusssss out of me too, but it's practically her signature now and at least she's abandoned the black leggings most of the time.

I do hold out hope that if I'm really good and pray a lot, some day she might wear a red dress, since I think she'd be stunning in red, but until that glorious day comes, we can only accept that she loves and rocks black, and that is as it should be.

Best Dressed: Anna Pogorilaya
Best Choreography: Adelina Sotnikova (Even though those beginning and ending poses O_O)
Best Jumps: Liza
Most Consistent: Evgenia Medvedeva
Best Spins: None of them were really all that great TBH... Julia has great flexibility but they are really slow... I'm just gonna say Medvedeva again.
Best Music: Tempted to say Adelina because her programs are constructed pretty well.
Best Short: Anna, her program had by far the best step sequence from all the other ladies and that COSTUME ^>^ So pretty!!
Best Free: Zheniya/Adelina
