A really lovely skate from Maria A, she got a little shaky towards the end but held on for a new PB. I miss the shirt but the new costume is nice. Was she a little underscored on PCS? I would score her highly on PE, CH & IN. Hopefully she stays on the podium. Who was the guy with her in the K&C?

Another great skate from Evgenia, bar the fall on the flip. I wonder will she make the Russian team for Euro/Worlds this year? Could to see Anna P bounce back.

i also wonder who the guy with Maria A was in the K&C? is she not with Rukavitsin anymore?

Of course she is still with Rukavitsin who is with Fedichkina. Molotov is the choreographer/coach under Rukavitsin. I believe he is a former ice dancer that helps with skating skills in the group among other things.

Nice job by Joshi! :) She's a bit unrefined, but there's something I really like about her. She seems to genuinely love being out there on the ice.

 Yes I actually think that's a huge part of her appeal- she seems to actually love skating!

Going to be interesting to see Helgesson'sscores... I will laugh if Medvedeva loses by less than a point considering her time violation and they missed putting her SP combo in the bonus.

----

Edit... eh, not a very big score for Helgesson... and I thought she did better than Artimieva.

Did Joshi have something invalidated? I don't think her SS are great, but I'm surprised the TES is so low.

Joshi's scores is strange. In the short program she had the highest PCs here it dropped, even thought she had a good skate.

Well I think it's safe to say we have our first Russian ladies podium sweep of the season...

i guess a bunch of Joshis jumps got UR'ed.. but still that was a low score for that program

A bit of a rough skate for Gabby... She's still a bit rough around the edges for me. At the moment, I would definitely see her as the third-ranked Canadian.

Also, I would like to see her branch out to another style of program...
