I don't understand why I am feeling so nervous when the results of this competition don't really "matter" and this is really just a practice... I am so jittery.

Did anyone else think that the rotation on the 3toe might have been short for the combo? He really eeked that out though. Good for him!

Unfortunate on the quad but wow, that spread eagle 3a spread eagle was just divine. And he goes well into the lead!!!!

Okay now that's over. He looked more cautious on the ice, slower than usual, but that 3A is just out of this world beautiful. Could have been a clean program, his air position on that 4T was perfect, the landing looked good but I think his nerves made him reach out for the ice. That Lutz was titled in the air but he got that 3T in nicely. Movements aren't as sharp, looked very nervous.

That being said, YAY!!! I'm so happy to see him compete again. Congrats on not falling Yuzu haha

yeah I think it was the nerves I was sure he was going to land it nicely, it looked beautiful in the air.

Agree on the 4T. It looked good in the air but he was slow to check out. And yes he didn't fall this time in the short

Took a slow-mo look and it was about definitely clean. Not Yuzu clean but clean nonetheless. It was probably 1/8 rotation off.

this performance is kinda like Worlds 2015 SP. HUGE step out on the 4t, nice 3A and the Lutz combo we were all worried about came through XD

I actually like the step sequence the best. Yes, I've been completely spoiled by his 3A now that I have come to expect this high quality every single time!

He doesn't look too happy right after that performance...on the other hand, can we talk about how healthy he looks?? Like compare to all of last season, he looks great!
