Honestly I don't think any of us are actually wishing bad upon other couples - and if we do say something it's sarcasm or just joking, from what I've interpreted! Though perhaps I'm being fooled and read sarcasm into things when it isn't there. I hope not though!
Agreed! I think it was just a huge disappointment. But I don't think anyone would wish B/S anything ill. They've already missed a whole season. It must be very disappointing to not compete here after training so hard. When is their next competition by the way?
I think Skate Canada, unless they have another Russian Cup competition planned? That's still in 2 weeks so it should be more than enough time for Katia.

Just caught Ruslena's performance on my lunch break! They hands down have the best waltz pattern hands down! They flew! They brought the energy. So in love with this SD!!!!

Yes I LOVED their edges on the waltz pattern. So strong and definite, miles beyond other teams.
I want to see Ruslan in leather, not in sparkles.I know black is Lena's favourite colour, but I just want her to change the dress to a dark red or purple and add some sparkles or something, please!I've given up on ever seeing Ruslan in sparkles...
I like her dress, his outfit not so much, very tame, but I really liked the SD! I'm all for that group hug.
I'm looking forward to seeing this program grow. TES seems good, though I haven't seen the protocols. Chock/Bates got 33.70 at Nebelhorn to I/Z's 33.52 here, considering that the point value for the pattern was dropped it's a very good score. Probably missed points on the partial, which has proven to be the downfall of every team so far. I'm so glad they cracked 70, they kept getting close all last season but just missed it every time!

They were awesome!
They have improved so much this off-season, just amazing. I think changing the lift to the rotational lift is a good decision. They got good GOEs on that lift in the past and don`t risk to get an extended lift deduction. They were probably overscored about 3 points in the PCS, which would still bring them to a score of around 67. That`s pretty close to C/B and that`s amazing.

but yes I agree with you that this seems competitive with C/B, and that is amazing.

I absolutely think that they can get those kind of PCS, but I think there was some home inflation. Anyway, their TES is amazing and they looked just fab in the SD.
Well, they clearly have places to improve, so 70 was a wee bit high. But the judges were very PCS happy in general, T/T gained four points in PCS from last week, so in comparison ruslena may have been a little underscored!
But yes, this was probably about a 67, the TES was almost identical to C/B's. I'm excited for how their season will go!
