Paris Shootings and Explosions

Just as an addition for any Twitter followers: police supposedly have called for people to stop tweeting pictures of Paris atm due to it showing police positioning.

I highly doubt this competition continues tomorrow. Nor I think it should. Apparently that concert hall is a scene from horror movie.

Who compared this to 9/11, which killed almost 3000 people, and the 2011 Tohoku earthquake/tsunami, which killed almost 16,000?? Large attacks like this, as of late, are typically perpetrated by individuals from the Middle East/practicing Muslims who read the religious texts verbatim...

Turned out to be a blessing that TEB is not in Paris this year.

I mean in the sense that none of the visiting skaters, coaches, families, etc., would happen to be at the concert or other sites that were attacked, for example.

The tsunami in Japan disrupted both 2011 Worlds and 2011 WTT.

- 2011 Worlds were postponed for a number of weeks and the location was changed from Japan to Russia.

- 2011 WTT was cancelled. And WTT then was held in 2012 instead. [2012 was not supposed to have WTT (held every other year).]

That's what I thought. Thank you clarifying that for me.

What does a thug look like? What does a criminal look like? U know one when you see one.

No, the disturbing thing is that they look like normal people. And, tbh, I find your comment silly. If you 'know one when you see one', the police could round all terrorists and criminals up tomorrow. :palmf:

What the ---- is this comment even? Did Ted Bundy look like he could become one of the worst criminals in US history? Obviously not. Did Einstein look like he would one of the most influential physicist in history? No, he looked like he could be a crazy ax murder.

:bang::hslap:

140 victims as of now.
Solidarity to the French people and to everybody involved in this horror.

ETA Victims are at least 158.

All USA airlines stopped inbound flights into France for 24 hours. Eurostar suspended services as well.

The horrors of humanity's past, present, and future...are all for what?.... My thoughts are with all those affected today, not only in Paris but everywhere else in the world...

Everyone single person on this earth needs to watch this video in the morning when they wake up. Get a perspective about the world and our place in it. :no:
