Been asking the same question since yesterday, specially after Charlie Hebdo I would guess Paris has heighten it´s security procedures
France is attacking the ISIS in Iraq and in Syria.
I offer my condolences to the people of Paris.

Yes, and Paris, France has no main role in the reception of the refugees.....

I know but in those attacks are many other country..not?
How did those three people end up hanging onto the side of the building? 1) How did they get there, 2) would it be safer to drop to the ground (will a 2 story drop be critically dangerous) than to hang exposed for so long?
I'm glad they are considering various options. Given the distance from Paris, I would find it somewhat surprising at this point if they cancelled the competition outright, but holding it without spectators seems to be viable compromise.
France is also more vulnerable geographically. Plus from what I was hearing on the news here, there are a lot of radicalized youth in France. Apparently many of the jails ar hotbeds for radicalization.
Also, many world leaders will be in Paris for the Climate talks shortly, so this may have the dual purpose of also trying to send them a message to be afraid.
Russia is the only one that currently does something against ISIS in real. ISIS didn't raised from anywhere. Ask yourself where they get weapons and money from.

Don´t know, the man that took the video say that he was shot probably from the window, so I hope those two girls that were getting in are ok
Well, I think that it is the question of opportunity. In France they are many supporters of ISIS and there are some people/mujjahadin who come back from Syria and/or Iraq. So they could get hold of trained people and weapons and they could prepare everything. I think.
Perhaps it is more difficult to get such mass attack in other countries, or perhaps they will strike later or ....

If Europe will continue to invite hundred thousands of unidentified people it will be not that hard. I am person who looks realistically on what happens in the world, and this is IMPOSSIBLE to identify any of these people. 90% of them have cheated documents that is easily to buy.
Thankfully there are still some countries that say big no to this politic, and wants at first place safety of their country, but they are being called racist.
This makes me sad that many people can't see how auto destructive it is what they are doing to their countries.

I hate the fact that al Qaeda, ISIS, and all these terror groups have essentially hijacked not just the terms 'jihad' and 'muhajideen', but they've essentially hijacked a whole religion for whatever delusion they hold.
Somehow you forgot about recent US strikes against ISIS in Kurdish areas, didn't you? Russia is striking IS only near Assad strongholds because it supports Assad.
As for weapons, I heard that ISIS have a lot of Russian weaponry recently, perhaps they got it from Russians (ups, I wanted to say, Chechens) who fight for ISIS, or perhaps they won it from al Quds Force fighting for Assad. Hmm....
