There is a shot where he is looking at himself in the mirror; I think he is saying to himself "hey I look good!" in that scene.

So what are you guys looking forward to for the rest of this season or beyond, program wise, achievement wise, costume wise, choreography wise?
Seeing Nanami-sensei again during NHK gala reminded me that I've wanted her to choreograph another program for him again; for competition or for exhibition. Yours?

I have this secret wish that Nanami and the two Russian choreographers (I've forgotten their names :scratch2:) who worked on his 2011-2012 programmes to choreograph for him again. I would also like him to work with Carmelengo in the future. However, if not, I am very happy with his work with Buttle and Bourne :D Maybe Nanami and Kenji should team up and choreograph an ex for him instead.

i have a feeling that he will have Buttle and Bourne (especially after seeing how much positive response SEIMEI got ) as choreographers from now on, he seems to have good chemistry with both of them and seems to understand eachother, i wouldnt mind if he keep working with these 2 :agree:

Same thoughts there--but WHAT IF after all those legacy--HE WINS OLYMPICS AGAIN? Imagine what would happen.
That might be the time I'll finally die. (To think I'm starting to pray for Pyeongchang as early as now. Well I bet some people in here prayed earlier. Right after Sochi perhaps? If so, I totally salute you!!:gclap:)
Let's start the prayer marathon for Pyeongchang Olympics!!!

I'm already praying that God protect and keep healthy always. He is very, very special as a human being and as an athlete.

I said before that I almost didn't want to see him do it perfectly because that could mean he'd have peaked that time.. in which, he pretty much have done it.. perfectly in the 'clean skate' sense (it's like I positively 'jinxed' him if that's even possible lol). But actually, now that I think about it, it may also be the start of his very positive trend for this season and I sure wouldn't mind that.

Idk if he'll perform to such perfection in GPF or Worlds I mean we wouldn't know. We just know that he's capable of doing so. However, if he happens to stumble (a little or more), it's ok. That just proves he's a normal human. Nonetheless, I always wish him for the best and hope he'll stay healthy first. :agree:

Anyway.. Yuzu looks dashing in that blue kimono!

His fist pump after he landed the lutz in the LP and the arena exploded when he started the chsq.

:peace: give me the chills when the arena exploded, I wonder how many people jumped and screamed in front of the pc and started clapping along till the end :hap93:

There were many Yuzu moments at NHK, one of it is at the gala finale ending he bent down and said arigato to the boy (is he the novice national champ?) that he held hand with.

What are your Yuzu moments?

No, that's not Shun Sato. I don't know his name but those boys and girls are skaters from the local Nagano skating fed.

I have many favorite moments but one of them is him being too excited to speak properly during the interview after his FS. He mispronounced some words and called Nagano, "Nagoya" and wasn't his usual eloquent self which was funny to see for a change.

According to a TV show I was watching yesterday about Yuzuru, one judge (female, non-Japanese) was crying after Yuzuru's FS score was out. A figure skating journalist saw it and said that she's never seen a judge cry before.

Also, found these reports from a person who went to see NHK Trophy. She was sitting next to the reserved seats for skaters/coaches and said that Meagan/Eric were sitting there and leaning forward as though they were studying him (they also did this for Boyang's 4Lz). Alexa/Chris and Vaness/Morgan and all the coaches came to watch him and they shouted in excitement every time he landed his jumps. Elladj looked like he was praying. Everyone started shouting before Yuzuru finished and gave him a standing ovation. After he finished, they started to predict the score.
At the medal ceremony, Boyang kept on looking at Yuzuru and was smiling the whole time. He must have been happy to stand on the podium with Yuzuru.

MEEEEE !! :peace:
At the end of the program, my mom (Yuzu fan too, but not at my level) who was watching with me said "Ok, is your trance over?" Too bad for her it lasted the whole week-end

Right now I'm looking forward to next week :gclap: is it already next week? Please tell me it's next week, I'm terrible at waiting
:ghug: Not there quite yet, but certainly not long to go now! It's already Tuesday, a week from now we're there already!
I honestly do not need Yuzuru to skate there like he did in Japan, but I do totally want him to win now. Unless Shoma wins. That'd be cool, too. Or Javier. Or Dice. Ehm... I really need to make up my mind about my fannish desires, lol.

To get into the mood, gonna try and watch those Omiyoji movies now.

So, what are you guys' thoughts about him peaking early in the season? Are you guys worried or excited? It's just I have a good feeling about this because I don't think I've ever seen him this confident before, which there's nothing wrong with that because that's the perfect mindset to have for a competitive sport like figure skating.
I don't think it is an early peak for him. We look at this season but the fact is that he hasn't won a major competition since 2014 GPF, almost a year ago. I'm sure it was so frustrating for him and he really needed this win to stay positive and confident.
