Why have S/K pulled out of nationals?

I love their great performance of the LP at the GPF, BUT their team seem to love enjoying the privileges of being top pairs at home/abroad. Hopefully Yuko and Sasha can grab the National title one more time.

Sorry, I was that busy worrying about getting this latest info on withdrawals into the Predictions thread that I didn't notice this comment at the end.

If it helps, nearly all the skaters have ISU Bios (only 9 skaters don't, and 4 of them are from 2 Dance couples), which I have linked to in the original post of the Predictions Thread. I copied the names directly from paulusfr's list, but I am nearly sure that the spellings used by paulusfr were identical to what the ISU uses.

Put it like this, the searches using them came up with the goods!

Rafael seems to be very modest. Ashley may well place in top six at Russian Nationals. But with almost every lady at Russian Nationals having more reliable 3-3, and younger than her, not sure how she would handle that pressure.
