They have the perfect attitude for swing. But please no waltz for the Olympic season, or if it comes give them the fortitude to choose a CLASSIC!! Puhlease.

You know you have a special team when you don't care where they finished on the podium as long as they skated well

Funky is not hip hoppa. It's not even in the music choices. It's just my wish to see them do a funky. It's so damn sexy. :luv17:

They had the 2nd highest tech score today, and the 2nd highest FD score, and that's now two fantastic performances of the FD, which was what they struggled with all last year. The change to the choreo element at the end was beautiful. The trip in the SD - anyone can trip on a toepick, it happens all the time even to the highest quality skaters especially if the ice is rough. I wouldn't class it as the same as the errors they made last season or in the SD. The PCS is a complete and utter joke, seriously when have S/B ever ever got near I/Z on PCS internationally? They've not outscored them on the SD this season even with 2 clean outings, it's all just politics, having a famous father and crap.

The top teams were so bunched in the FD, it will be interesting to see what happens for the selection to Euros. I'd send B/S to Worlds, and the other 3 to Euros, with S/K going to Worlds unless they are handily beaten at Euros. But whether Kustarova & co have the weight to make that happen in the coaches selection meeting is another question. If the season ends here... I do hope they make some changes in the coaching set up. But at least they'd have an uninterrupted period to work on the tech side and regain confidence for next year. They are going to need to be on top form because on today's showing it will be tough for Russia to get the 3rd spot back.

The Blues is going to be a better fit than the Waltz. I just hope they can use a good choreographer, otherwise they will be stuck with Kustarova`s choreography.

That is true. A toepick it's not the same as the errors they have made and Yulia was complaining today about the ice. She said it was bad and very difficult to skate there. However, you know how that mistake was perceived so it doesn't make any difference. Anyway, it's done now.

Honestly I don't have a song in mind. Just I love the rhythm. Maybe an exhb. number? Maybe I'll decide to follow the gala in that case.
I'm not a Buble type but I like this remix and it makes me always dance. Would be a great gala number.
