Anna may have won the bronze, but IMO, her performances were gold-medal peformances! 
Like I said before, this Scheherazade FS is really growing on me. If we see this program clean at Worlds, she will have a very good chance for the podium! I'm so happy for Anna!

It's Ari Zakarian...agent for many skaters like Plushenko, Sotnikova, etc. and he produces ice shows, among other things.
I hope Anna does well at Europeans and cements her position for Worlds. Many people are emphasizing that she could be replaced if she doesn't do well, but I think she is capable of two clean (or mostly clean) performances, as long as she stays calm and doesn't let anything faze her. I think these Nationals are a bit of a turning point for her, maybe they will give her greater confidence for the rest of the season.

The tone of some of those posts... :disapp: It's clear that certain fans of other skaters would like to see her fail so their favorite will have a chance to replace her - and I like all the girls, but I root the most for Anna & I am sure she can do it. Last season she was injured or sick at some of those competitions, so it's hard to say how many of her bad skates were simply due to nerves. I hope she will prove her doubters wrong once again.
Yeah, it really felt like some are hoping Anna will do bad at Euros. She's not my favorite Russian lady, but her Nats performances were impressive (esp. under pressure) and imo her lines/movement have improved this year, so I'm rooting for her. It's actually really interesting that Anna is on track to making the most world teams of any of the recent Russian ladies (like the era starting w/Adelina & Liza).
I wish she could be given more of a chance to REALLY perform her programs, but it must be so nerve-wracking to know you could be replaced any second if you don't deliver technically. But hey, that makes her Nats performances even more impressive!

She wasn't close. She was was downright robbed... :disapp: And I do like Carolina, so it's nothing against her.
There are some people who hate anna.....I think it happens because many girls are very envious of her stunning beauty, her grace and her elegance.....And because there are a lot of incompetent about iceskating.....they don't recognize the great artistic potential that Anna has....
They are happy when she fails her program !!!!
I love Anna and I always believe in her. At nationals she showed that she has 'balls' ..she is a fighter and she skated very well after the difficulties of NHK!

Yes, what would be really cool if this music would be combined with other Schnittke works like Requiem or viola concerto or cello sonatas; I would love to hear something more avantgarde from the skaters! This particular piece could make a great Short or Free Dance!Thank you so much! I've never heard this music piece before, & today due to Anna's performance, I fell in love with it. I think it would even make a great SP or LP program.
As far as I remember, she was the only one there to deliver two clean programs, correct?
I think the important fact here is that according to her she had a pretty bad head injury several seasons ago, so it could be one of the reasons she struggles with nerves and, therefore, inconsistent. They better not mess up her music like they did in China anymore; this kind of things affect her performance a lot.

oh I didn't know she had a serious head injury in the past but with the way she falls I am not surprised! I wish she could consult with someone, like a fall specialist lol does that exist?, so she could fall less harshly and not risk to harm herself again.

Yes, I'm always surprised that so few skaters have used Schnittke - I/K did the Agony Waltz, but apart from that, Anna's program is the only one. It's a great vehicle for her! (I'm currently trying to convince my coach that I should skate to The Story of an Unknown Actor...)
I hope Anna can do more great performances at Euros! Definitely my favorite Russian lady this season

It was a beautiful program though not cleanly skated but I think Anna caught that intensity of the music perfectly (I didn't like the dress though - too literal)
^This interview answered the questions about Anna's falls, she admitted that she was never taught how to fall 'correctly' which is a bit strange.
And such a pity that Anna didn't fight for her program but went along with a warhorse from Morozov. I hope Anna will find a strength and courage one day to follow her own instincts. And Anna pleeease tell your mother to stay away from designing your dresses -enough of mesh fabric! Your ex dresses show you can do much better!
