Yes, he says he's editing for the first time. -He may have just done a bit of editing or done the whole thing, it doesn't say. He says he wants to add another quad, so I think if it's ready, he'll put it in.

Thanks! Im conflicted whether I wanna see another quad in the program...

Actually, the word he uses is SHOULD. "I should increase the variety of quads in my program" so he considers it necessary. -but it comes to the same thing of whether or not it's ready to be put in.

I did a spreadsheet of Yuzuru's 3A history since he turned senior. It's incredible he has landed 99 out of 106 3As (giving him a 93% success rate)!

P.S.- although it is computerized, i am still bad at math so there might be some wrong calculations...:scratch2: Does the 3A-1lo-3s at NHK FS count as Yuzuru's 100th attempted axel? and is the 100th landed axel in sight at worlds?

Add? Not replace? 4-quad programme? :eeking:

He said increase variety, so not necessarily an extra quad. We'll have to wait and see.
I think he'll just replace the first 4T with a 4L

He starts Seimei the usual way. Just when everyone thought they would not see the 4Lo, at his second last jump, instead of the 3Lo, he jumps higher and spins faster, made the 4 revolutions and landed on one foot and great flow. The crowd froze and there was no noise. The cold frost of Everest descended upon Boston. A single eye lash from Brian Orser fell on the ground and the sound it made can be heard.

People's values change at different stage of their career. I think too many people are stuck with the impression that Yuzu is a reckless and irrational kid who is willing to take unreasonable risk and fall just to get points because he insisted on keeping the 4S in his LP. At that time, he had not won any major title. He was the one that was chasing others. 4S was a rational choice for him at that time because it allowed him to increase the BV significantly and he needed 4S for the future. Even if he didn't win the Sochi Olympics, keeping the 4S in competition would help his 4S consistency in the future. If he removed the 4S, he would lose the time to practice 4S in competitions. Also, judges had never been generous to him before the 2013 GPF anyway. Judges would not take him seriously if he did two 4T because that's what everybody else was doing at that time and he had no major titles or big reputation like the other veterans. Lowering the BV would lower his scores. Even if the ISU increase the deduction for falls at that time, doing 2 different types of quads 4S, 4T is still better than doing two 4T. (In the end, he did win the Olympics thanks to the 4S and Japan hosting the 2013 GPF. Japan has been hosting the GPF right before the Olympics for the past few Olympic cycle. Japan will host the GPF in 2017 again. IMO, hosting the GPF right before the Olympics is the best thing JSF ever did for their athletes. It gives their newbie skaters the momentum going into the Olympics. Yuzu would've lost both the GPF and Olympics if the 2013 GPF was held elsewhere. I think JSF will try to win the bid to host the GPF right before the Olympics at all cost.)

Now he is the leader and the one being chased by others. He has a reputation he needs to protect. He wants to skate like a champion. He won't casually add any inconsistent elements in his programs. He will still increase the program difficulty. But he will practice enough to improve the consistency of the new jump before he adds any new jumps to his program.

I don't think he will have enough time to prepare a 4-quad LP before WC. I think he will just do a 3-quad LP with 3 different types of quads.

Oh wow... This is HUGE. Thanks for posting this !

This is one of the best things I've ever read here... :laugh2:

You know, I was getting bored home alone today (it's freezing in s.Ontario today) and decided to watch some skating videos I'd never watched before. One was Yuzu'z 'Hello I love you' one... Can I just say that as soon as he started I knew it was a Kurt Browning number? LOL. Some choreographers leave a mark and that one for sure had his stamp all over it. And, yes, I thought it was a great number for Yuzu. He does show a great range. I hope he keeps it in his repertoire.

It's saying that Yuzu has a girlfriend, a classmate from his high school. But the source is that Ladies magazine again so I don't know if it's true. We should wait for something definite from Yuzu himself first.

Just watched that video. Are they saying that this girl is also an athlete but doing other sport (not skating) and Yuzu confessed to her last year in spring? I heard they mention marriage too...

I guess this is the related article? Could anyone translate briefly?

Which girl saved a country in her prior life to get such good fortune?

Does he really need to answer it? It’s his private and the source is from stupid gossip magazine. He should just ignore it and so we do!
