One comment indicates that this version by the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra is the one that Mao used, though it was edited by Mao's team to fit the program. Thanks to badlilmonkeh for the information. I love this performance so much like an angel descended from the heavens in a frozen moment of perfection as Mao has done in many other wondrous ones.

rosewood also said that last year's show (THE ICE 2015) donated 5,967,496 yen (52,370 $ at today's rate) to Support Our Kids which supports children who were victims of the 3.11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

This is Mao's skating at its most ethereal. In itself, this performance is mesmerizing from beginning to end. Viewed in the context of the struggles and disappointment she had had that season up till that point, this performance is triumphant, inspirational and an utter tearjerker. Moments like this are what makes being her fan so rewarding.

(Oh, and the judges awarded this FS a whopping 62.71 PCS. The good old days of yore.)

:agree: It's almost the perfection for me too. How beautiful she is. Besides, looks like she landed the 3A like a cat or a bird's feather at the beginning.

As it's pretty rare to see, she got her bangs like that. so now, many her fans are really curious to know how does she make it at the upcoming competition in Boston.

ETA: By the way, he says 「まさか本当に」in Japanese. It's pretty strong words so It sounds more like "I really never thought that she will be coming!"
