Yuzu's message for the 5th anniversary of 3.11 disaster: http://dai.ly/x3x2c0g

Translation: There are places where the recovery is going forward and places where it isn't yet.
We may only be able to look on, or we may only be able to lend a listening ear, but I will do my best daily so that people's hearts can be moved.
I wish you well, and we will all try to work together.

-Something like that. If there is a discrepancy, please add your own translation.

Thank you Specs. Beautiful message from Yuzu.

His boots are 1205000 Yen at the moment, that's more than 10000USD already. http://page21.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j385052494

If he ever put in action boots that made him break the World record- those might raise a fantastic sum of money. I doubt that he ever will, perhaps the boots that helped him win in Sochi and those with WR will stay in his home collection of go to the museum...

Thanks Meoima for the link and interspectator for the translation. Even if 5 years have passed since that day, it's really sad that there are people who can't live their normal lives yet, as Yuzuru, I also wish those people well.

it will reach 2000000 probably by the end of the weekend :hap10:

The dates for next season's GPs are decided. COC and COR switched dates. I think this means Yuzuru will be assigned to COR and NHK next year.

If top 3 at WC are Yuzuru, Patrick and Javi, I believe next season's grand prix assignments will be:
Yuzuru: COR, NHK (Yuzu can finally go to COR after 4 years. COR is always right before NHK.)
Patrick: SC, COC (Patrick can finally go to COC. COC has always been right after SC.)
Javi: SA, TEB.

And here I was hoping yuzu could do sc again as it is in Mississauga and he would have less travel.

If both Patrick and Yuzu medal at the WC, there is no way Yuzu will be assigned to SC unless Skate Canada is willing to send Patrick somewhere else. Skaters don't get much choice in the GP assignments. The feds decide on which skaters they invite.

Maybe Skate America ;)

Now if Yuzu gets to go to COR you have no idea how many European fans would be like:yahoo::hap57::hap93::rock::party2::points::party::cheer::thank::clapper:

It seems that Skate America doesn't like inviting the best skater. They had the chance to invite Yuzuru last season and this season, but they didn't. I guess the US fed wants to give their skaters the best chance to medal and qualify for the final, so they usually avoid inviting the best skaters in each discipline, unless the best skaters are their own skaters or they don't have any medal contenders in that discipline. Yuzuru is the skater US fed tries to avoid.

Ultimately, it depends on the Russian fed. But I don't see any reasons for Russian fed to not invite him. Russia is not strong in men right now. And for whatever reason, their top skaters don't like to compete at COR. So Russian fed doesn't any Russian man to boost at COR anyway. I heard that Russian fans love Yuzuru. If the date change is only for one season, then the COR next season will be the only time Yuzuru can compete in Russia this quad (as long as Yuzuru can't skip NHK). If Russian fed does want to invite Yuzuru to compete in Russia, that would be their only chance.

That's such great news for me.:yahoo::yahoo: Yuzuru, Russia's awaiting you! COR is a lucky GP for him and Russian FS fans remember him very well in the best way possible. When he came here two times he won many Russian hearts. His fanbase here is huge too. I'm sure he would be welcomed very well if he comes.
