I’m a Tokyo person. When I’m walking tired or depressed and I sometimes come across his photos. That makes my heart bright and happy. I think some businessperson, students, etc. living in the city are the same. His posters comfort us so much.

The poster alia just introduced can be seen in Sendai only. Sendai TV always shows very cool Yuzuru posters before the Worlds. But I can't go there to see it. Sad

Were Mao's photos more of photo-shoot type and Yuzu's more of those taken during competition?

Possibly Mao had one year off from competition the season before this and her agent must be like: Okay advertisers, whatever you want to sell or those that you want to sell in the next few years, this is the time to get Mao to do photo shoot.

While Yuzu's agent: Sorry can't do this, can't do that. He is only in Japan for a few weeks.

Yeah Mao's were more formal advertisements where she's looking radiant with minimal makeup. i saw some ads with her sister Mai as well. With Yuzu, I spotted that ad someone had posted and then another ad where it was his Olympic short program shirt.

I really want that new book. -I'll have to make a trip into town soon and get it.

I ordered it I have to stop doing stupid things in the middle of the night. Looking at shipping is killing me a little, to be honest, but whatever. It's not like I haven't already spent an insane amount of money on figure skating in the last week. Or plan to spend even more. On stuff that doesn't even happen for more than a year.
Now it's time to start worrying about live streams for this year's Worlds I already know that it's going to be a big mess again.

long time indeed!!! hopefully you will post more often now starting with your (hopefully incredible!!! )experience at worlds!! as usual i am very envious of those who will go and wishing all of you a great time!! it probably will be very stressfull but you wont be along in the arena (which i am guessing not a bad thing at all )

Thanks, matmuh! I think I'm crazy in deciding to go when I can barely watch Yuzuru skate in real time online. But, I just couldn't pass up the chance to see him and world's top skaters at the premier event of the year. Yes, we'll have to have a group hug before his skates!

But VERY abstract versions of course. Japan, Russia, Israel, Latvia, and Uzbekistan will be easy flags.

Has anyone else arrived in Boston yet? I got here last night from the UK and spent 1.5 hours in the immigration line! Will spend a couple days during touristy things, which might calm my nerves a bit before the competition, and catching up with work at the hotel. When I watch Yuzu in competitions on TV, I always keep my eyes semi-closed :hpull:and listen to the announcer's reactions first, but can't do this in a live competition! Couldn't make a banner in time, but did manage to get some flags at the last minute from Amazon. Hope I meet some of you guys there!

This is a really really great picture book. I'm not sure if you can buy it from abroad, but if you can, I strongly recommend this book, for memory's sake
Among 128 pages, 109 pages are for Yuzu's photos(practice, Chopin, Seimei, K&C, podium, Requiem, press conference, everything during GPF), and all the photos are unbelievably beautiful::

Thanks for the information! I recently give up catching up with his magazines (too many.. Last season, I kept checking and buying them (about 20-30). But this season.. ). The number of magazines seems to be increasing this season…
