Whoa...Putting the 3A's in the second half could be risky for him. let's see how he does in practice.

Not only the second half, but also the last two jumping passes. To think that he couldn't even land the jump a year and a half ago.

I'm gonna die of nervousness :hopelessness:

I'm getting a stomach ache just thinking about it! I SO want him to do well. I just think he is an amazing young man...I leave Weds. for Boston and can't wait!!!!!

Cool! Have a good time! Just stay near the defibrillator ;)

LOL! You've got that right. I ought to take my own portable one! Between Shoma, Yuzu, the pairs, Gracie (heart attack city) and the Shibs, I'll be lucky if I make it out alive!

Anyone who was at the Garden -- how did Shoma look in practice this morning?

Come on Shoma-kun. You can do it !!! (I'd need a week just to get over the jet lag!) Can't wait for the short tomorrow!

Better than yesterday I'd say![/QUOTE]

I have confidence that shoma will start off that last group with fire and it will keep building and be a great event. C'mon shoma, start them off on the right note!

Thank you for all the updates!

Oh, this is his first senior WC, and the gogeous members of this group! I'm nurvous about 6 mun.warm up...:hpull:

Further, I feel he has the inherent ability to make up his unique world on ice. Just hope he can skate as he wishes.

Greatly enjoyed Shoma's SP last night! I really hope that he skates well in the FS and at least holds on to 4th place! :)

I agree and just wanted to stop by to say that Shoma's SP was my favourite of the night. I love his jumps, musicality and artistic movements on the ice. He's the full package and I would love to see him on the podium.

He did well! A bit shame about his jump and spin, but he didn’t fall! He's 4th and have the chance of podium.
Good luck for your FS, Shoma!:clapper:
(And Japanese guest commentator was Daisuke Takahashi whom Shoma respects. I haven't watched the video yet but i'm interested in Daisuke's words about shoma!)

Hi Hamaguri. If you have the time, after you have watched Daisuke commentating on Shoma's performance, it would be wonderful if you could let us know what he says. I love Daisuke and Shoma! They are my personal dream team.

Daisuke said like this,:)

"It’s nice that he started relaxed at the first half. The miss of combination jumps is a bit shame, but his body moved well and it will be a good sign towards FP.”

Further, the abstract of Shoma’s comment after SP.

“I feel a shame since I couldn’t get the performance as I wanted. The wrong part was jump and especially transition. I couldn’t fully give the transitions.
(After the lose of 4CC), I’ve worked hard considering for what I was doing figure skate. Now I couldn’t show what I’ve done. It’s regrettable. But I have another chance of FP and I shall keep it up. “
