well, it's understandable because he skates to 3A backwards so it was dangerous

on positive side he nailed two 4S in a row now

He also landed every 4S in SP his run through, but his last two 4t in the SP run through are not very successful. He seems to land his 4S better in run through, worse in practice. 4t is the reverse. He lands 4t well in practice, but not too well in run through.

One of the fans who is there is saying Ten was in his way last night too

so I wonder if the frustration of it all combined. Anyway, better to get it out than keep it inside, cooking. Brian and co will take care of the rest hopefully by the time he's up.
I'm very sure of that. If Yuzu yelled, he probably called him to talk to him or did it after practice. I remember during Skate America, Menshov was in Shoma's way during his FP runthru (twice in a row) and Shoma complained, and his coach gently conforted him and explained that such things can happen.

Last night's news clip.

Daisuke says Yuzuru is a genius who can keep improving (a genius in terms of keeping improvement).

I'm one of the worried mothers, but I trust Yuzuru (I should, yes). He keeps improving all the time.

But I feel like my throat being chocked up, and my heart being pounding too fast :palmf:

EDIT: Today's news clip

His body fat percentage is 3%

He was so tired after the practice in Toronto. He said "I'm exhausted. I would go near vomiting." God, please reward him what he wants

Oh it does, I am sure it was totally unintentional but the combination of pressure, iffy 4S, and I am sure even maybe slightly the echoes of that crash, and it got compounded. It's just that it truly says something about stress levels if Yuzu of all people yells! But Brian is amazing in how he handles the mental part of the game so I'm still calm.

In some way, I expect that once he calms down, this might actually pump Yuzu up to do great! (knock on wood)

Try to calm down and feel positive thus you can send positive vibes towards Yuzuru. :console: I've been worried a lot too but I know he can switch his mood when necessary so I want to do that too. May the force be with him!:ghug:

He is under immense pressure at this worlds, maybe the biggest ever, bigger than the pressure he faced at the Olympics and 2014 WC. I don't think anyone else in the same competition has to deal with the pressure he faces.

Totally agree. Plus, he really did yell. Even if there's no record of it, I honestly believe that he did, considering how Jackie said he was shocked and how Nam said that the last group of practice (/w Yuzu) was scary. I think, in some way, it helped him to blow steam off. It will help him for tonight.

What is happening, the situation is so tensed .....I am so worried and afraid now........

Very true. But that is a part of what separates the true champions from the rest and I firmly believe he can handle it when the time comes.

Whether we will survive though... I still say vodka is good here :slink:

Absolutely true. I'm pretty sure he is very nervous. Everybody is looking at him like he has already got that gold on his neck but he has to earn it and it's a tough task. Plus he really wants to be perfect again to end this season on the highest note possible. I hope he can relax, forget what happenned and focus again being calm and strategic.

It's over, that one runthru. When he enters the ice it would be clean and free- just for him to show his beautiful Chopin. Let us all think positive about competition, shall we?:ghug:

I can't sleep now (and gosh..I'm gona have meeting later :drama:) and reading about the most recent practice mishap makes me nervous. But I'm glad they both ok. Someone posted Nam's tweet on Yuzu fans fb and he said the last practice group was scary - referring to the incident. When Yuzu is on ice practicing, it means serious business and pure concentration. I remember reading comments from other fellow skaters how intense he can be when he is focus. I understand why he bark at Ten. Hope he will get out the frustration and refocus. I believe Orser will talk to him.

I hope Yuzu will make it and skate brilliantly. I just have to believe in him. Go Yuzu!

Yes, he'll have the rink to himself, no risk of incident. Plus, I'm sure Papa Orser (and very likely Yumi too) has had a talk with him to help him calm down. He'll be fine. :)

:roll9:
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm still not freaking out.
Did I just say that? I am NOT drunk. Yet. The emergency vodka is just on call in the fridge. But I won't use it until the freaking out starts, and I think I'm still about 5-6 hours away from that.
Does that incident count as the human-testing everybody always wants to perform on the alien boy? Showing some nerves sounds like a perfectly human reaction to the kind of stress he must be under. At least it wasn't anything too serious. I'd rather he snaps at someone during practice but then doesn't have a meltdown during the actual competition.
