Thank you. I got mixed up. After the short dance, we have to exit, then come back for the Men' short programs in the evening rating at 6:00 pm.
I am so nervous. I must stay confident and give Yuzuru all my positive thoughts.

Absolutely true. I'm pretty sure he is very nervous. Everybody is looking at him like he has already got that gold on his neck but he has to earn it and it's a tough task. Plus he really wants to be perfect again to end this season on the highest note possible. I hope he can relax, forget what happenned and focus again being calm and strategic.

I think he will be fine tonight. I don't think he will keep feeling frustrated for the whole day. But I honestly don't expect him to be perfect tonight or break any world record. The pressure he faces in the SP is too big. I only hope he does decent enough to still be in medal contention after the SP. Even if he doesn't lead after the SP, I hope his SP is not too much lower (no more than 3-4 points lower) than the leader's score. Any score higher than last year's WC SP score is an improvement for him. (He got 95 for his SP last year.)

Given all the news we've got during the last few hours I don't expect him to be perfect but I really want him to have a clean performance. He needs those jumps to be there for him tonight. The thing is- he is famous for fighting like ninja in LP when SP is not great and I don't want him to waste his energy like that. He should be calm and focused tonight and everything would be fine.
Who could lead in SP if not Yuzu?

My guess would be a clean Javier only if Yuzuru's not clean. He's the only one with comparable PCS and two quads in the SP. If both falter, Patrick, perhaps?

:roll9:
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm still not freaking out.
I'm doing enough of that already for the both of us, I think.
Really should've stayed away from the practice reports thread. :hopelessness:

Go, Yuzuru! Show the world what you showed us all in Barcelona!

I'm so sorry that I didn't have time to keep up with the thread, but I'm here ready for watching the worlds.

I rewatched some Yuzu fan videos I love and I want to share some (and many thanks to those who made the videos if they are on this forum :ghug:)

Thank you Silvia! Very beautiful videos! Some are my favourite too ! :)

Well... at least we discovered something new about Hanyu today: he can bark! I wanna hear that!
No matter how many times I read this post ,I find 'bark' a really funny verb to use for this situation
Me too. He is always so restrained and polite, but it is good that he put his frustration out.
Ikr! I hope his stress etc can also be vented through this small incident

If he has a clean performance, he would score pretty well. The SP all have similar elements and BV. The difference in BV is not very big. If yuzu doesn't give a clean performance, then whoever gives the best performance will lead. Machida was first after the SP at the 2014 WC. I hope it's nothing like the 2014WC again. He was 7 points behind after the SP and had to fight back in the LP. I still think it is a miracle that he actually won the WC in 2014.

I just hope there is no pop and no missing combo from him. 2T would be a disaster. It would be 20 points gone right away.

He can make huge points now back in LP, but hopefully he is not going to have to and will do his job today

Ah, I'm on a high after that magical dance so I'm not going to think of what-ifs. I hope he goes clean and I think he can. I know the pressure is crazy but I think it's important that he does, for overall stability and I don't mean just for this competition but the future in general.

So fingers crossed and let's go Yuzu!
