Thank you so much but my Japanese is terrible, and google translate doesn't help. Anyone? I am loathe to guess but it seems that there was an intervention of some sort yesterday? Maybe what that fan spoke of.
Let's just ignore it and think positively for Yuzuru. He is under immense pressure. We should send him some good vibe.

I have been, all day but I'm afraid that does not stop me from being curious! I am sure that he'll show us what he can do :)

I am sure he will calm down. He has to just focus on each element and then he'll be fine. It's just the stress in the days leading up to it can be more than the actual competition because you really want it to be happening NOW. Hearing that he reacted like that, even for a brief moment, to a practice really emphasizes how much he is feeling that pressure. Once the sp is done I think he will be much better... the nervous energy/angst will be focused towards delivering a good free program.

Japanese is not my first language, but from what I can see it does not give much new information (mostly talks about how Yuzuru got angry). However, at the end it says that Yuzuru seemed to be stressed and that Yuzuru('s team) requested, through the federation, for Denis to be careful. (I'm not really sure what through the federation means?)

That the Japanese federation officially asked for Ten to be careful, ok that's the part I couldn't unravel. Through the federation means that Yuzu didn't ask, they went through the official channels. It's a step higher than just coaches talking, or even skaters. Thank you so much!

I think he got over the incident quickly (after a few minutes). He is not the type that get hung up on something forever. He is under stress. But I don't think he is under stress because Denis was in his way but because of the expectations and his own desire to win.

I think it's probably a combination of all of those things to be honest. I doubt the fed would make an complaint/request if Yuzuru wasn't particularly bothered by it. Three times is quite a lot for only two days of practice :/

What I noticed last night at the men's practice is that Yuzu is very focused and very intense, much more so than any of the other guys out there. While most of them stopped on their way out to sign autographs and take photos with a large group of young girls, Yuzu walked right on by. I respect him for that as he has a job to do and he's completely intent on that.

As others have mentioned, he has a tremendous amount of pressure on him...probably more so than any other competitor here. Tensions are high and time is running out, so I can understand his frustration with Denis being in his way. I must say last night while watching practice I caught my breath several times as there were a couple of near collisions with other skaters, but this goes with the territory.

As for the 3% body fat...while watching Yuzu live for the first time last night I was struck with how athletic he is...his body is a finely tuned skating machine. He takes command of the ice and to put it quite simply, is regal. Prince Yuzu!

I agree. As much as I myself would hope one day to get a pic with Yuzuru and an autograph, I rather have him focus for competition. Because I don't want to be the reason why someone loses focus. Skating is a mental sport as well as physical.

I'm sooo nervous. I don't know if I'll be able to watch Yuzu live, I probably would die from heart attack. So, good luck Yuzuru,I know you can do it!:cheer2:

Pretty sure I read somewhere that compared to others, Yuzu doesn't spend a lot of time on ice, but he "uses every minute like it's 10 minutes" and is extremely intense when practicing.
