Yuzuru Hanyu: 2015-16 Season

That the Japanese federation officially asked for Ten to be careful, ok that's the part I couldn't unravel. Through the federation means that Yuzu didn't ask, they went through the official channels. It's a step higher than just coaches talking, or even skaters. Thank you so much!

What I noticed last night at the men's practice is that Yuzu is very focused and very intense, much more so than any of the other guys out there. While most of them stopped on their way out to sign autographs and take photos with a large group of young girls, Yuzu walked right on by. I respect him for that as he has a job to do and he's completely intent on that.

As others have mentioned, he has a tremendous amount of pressure on him...probably more so than any other competitor here. Tensions are high and time is running out, so I can understand his frustration with Denis being in his way. I must say last night while watching practice I caught my breath several times as there were a couple of near collisions with other skaters, but this goes with the territory.

As for the 3% body fat...while watching Yuzu live for the first time last night I was struck with how athletic he is...his body is a finely tuned skating machine. He takes command of the ice and to put it quite simply, is regal. Prince Yuzu!

He is the power. We can trust in him. And it's the last time we can see that lovely Chopin. Of course, it's the same for him. During two years after Olympic he's skated this program, the incident, tons of tears, sweat were there. Today is ending. Yuzu, just express what you feel at the moment. He loves figure skating more than else.

I am hoping, wishing, and praying while knocking on wood, crossing my eyes and rubbing my rabbit's foot that Yuzu has a safe and injury free competition and that he has amazing, completely clean, perfectly executed, awe-inspiring, record-breaking, lights out performances in the short program and free skate that will totally outdistance all of the other competitors and convince even the harshest critics that he is the absolute champion in men's figure skating.

(Redundancy is never a bad thing when it comes to hoping, wishing and praying...)

Jackie said he was so shocked by the yell he did not record the 3A moment. I hope someone actually did.
To clarify: Hanyu and Ten did NOT crash. Hanyu had to skate around Ten, then he fell on his 3A (Jackie Wong)

so I wonder if the frustration of it all combined. Anyway, better to get it out than keep it inside, cooking. Brian and co will take care of the rest hopefully by the time he's up.

During Hanyu's SP runthru, he yelled out because Ten was unintentionally doing a spin on Hanyu's setup to the triple axel. Hanyu went around him but fell on the triple axel, probably lost his concentration. No one crashed into anyone. (Jackie Wong)

Daisuke says Yuzuru is a genius who can keep improving (a genius in terms of keeping improvement).

I'm one of the worried mothers, but I trust Yuzuru (I should, yes). He keeps improving all the time.

But I feel like my throat being chocked up, and my heart being pounding too fast
