What can I say? I know Lena got trashed for her JLo program, but pop music really suits her! She's got moves!

Love it! I agree, she is such a natural dancer. I would love to see her Imagine and Worth it exhibitions again. Since Zhenya seems to have a clear advantage on the technical side of skating (I just cannot fathom how she does four triples in a row like it's nothing!!) I hope Lena can develop her artistry, since I think that is what will make her stand out. I'm also pleased she is staying with Inna (and sad Inna thought otherwise even if for a second), but I hope they can work on fine-tuning her skating.

We will see about this...Lena used to be able to do 3Lz+3T+3T+3T etc like it was nothing, and also 3Lo-1Lo-3S-1Lo-3S...
Maybe now that she's grown, it won't be possible anymore...Or maybe she'll get adjusted to her new limbs and recover some of her former jumping ability.

Zhenya only has an edge because she can execute her jumps cleanly and with tano's. If Lena can get her jumps 100% clean, and maybe add some tanos, I think she can compete. :yes:

Very true . I remember you said her WC practices were quite shaky and mistake prone, so it is pretty amazing she held on to her landings even if they weren't perfect. Hopefully with more training and ice time, she can work on her jump landings and make them more clean and stable. I would love to see this new and improved Lena!

The rink is TINY! Poor Lena looks like she's skating at half speed to avoid hitting the boards. No wonder she fell on the triple loop!

There's lots of koreans commenting on what a beauty she is, and one even rooted for her to win the gold in Pyongchang. There's a lot of true skating fans in korea, but of course haters will always be louder.
