^ Please don't apologize! I appreciate it because I was too lazy to copy all the links

And I do the same thing all the time too.

Yes, I heard both, and it sounds Milva with her husky voice, but I could only find live version and could not be sure.

Is the one used for Shoma's FS live version?

EDIT: I've also found Nati Mistral version, but I think her voice sounds different.

But I'm not relying on my ears either.

Hmm, I think the FS seems to show great promise. There are some nice flourishes to the choreo. It needs work as it is tentative at the moment, but I'm looking forward to seeing it develop. He really does have some lovely arm, head and hand movements. :luv17:

Wonderful first outing with a new program. Still am not 100% sold on the Balada, but we'll see how it develops. I guess that's just my personal taste - not really crazy about music with vocals. He needs a full-size rink so he can really fly, and I can see him "owning" this once he becomes more comfortable with it. The total body movement aspect of his skating is so wonderful.

The costume drama is over  - love the costume, especially the cool black pants! I want a pair of those!!!! :palmf: They're velvet-y looking, right?

I needed time to digest it.
I think it looks promising, obviously still very rough but he'll improve by a whole lot in the next couple of months like he did with last season's programs.
Some of his moves still look like "I'm doing this because my choreographer told me to" but he'll probably make it his own with time. I like that the music isn't a warhorse. I don't mind the vocals right now but ask me again at the end of next season :dbana: The Cantilever -> 3S looks cool and hopefully the first 3A when the music changes will work out fine. I still hate some of his jump landings though. I look forward to when he first skates to it in competition.

One thing that I need to remember about him is that he's so much better to watch live than on TV or YouTube.

Are we sure about that? ;) I think the black pants is recycled from his 4CC gala costume.

Oh my this program is a gem for Shoma! This music is not easy to skate to, but he makes it look easy. I like that
he is challenging himself. His FS last season was great but imo this FS is a step up for Shoma, loved it!

This seems so different for him. Parts of it seemed a little empty, but I'm sure that's because it's still new. Can't wait to see how it develops! He just glides so effortlessly. Like I said, I could just watch him do backward crossovers all day! :drama: He has some practicing to do before he goes to the U.S. International Skating Classic in September. And there he'll also be coping with the 4,000 feet altitude. I think he's really up to the challenge. It seems that he is even working on smiling more!

Thanks a million for your works of mikaboo and Ms. Piggy for posts of his new program!:)

4,000 feet altitude? he must have never experienced such a condition. The competition'll make a kind of late summer training camp for him.

My just impression is the rink was too small for shoma! Provably it would look somewhat different if he had done it on larger rink for competitions. I was surprised at the female vocal, but i'm fond of it. Anyway, it is quite a challenge... but i am looking forward to seeing it growing!

His smile... His next show is PIW Tokyo on July 15 and 16 (with Tatsuki). There he may show new SP! Our costume discussion will end there? (he disclosed his ex and fs costumes already.) Or he may change during/before the season... :drama:

His speed when he skates is so awesome, and the small rink seemed REALLY small. Can't wait to see how the program evolves and changes. What a fantastic challenge!

Yes! he skates from end to end at such a speed!
On a different note, I posted the video of FaOI Makuhari to team Japan thread. the video is long, so i attach the list for you to identify your skater's part. my reccomendation is “Liebestraume” by Nobu with the pianist and Jeffrey “Black and Gold”.

P.S. I made FaOI thread to the Edge.

Thank you for doing that. Can't wait to watch the whole thing! Looking forward to watching Nobu and Wakaba especially!

I was one of those people who really, really liked Turandot. And in general I am not such a fan of the type of music Shoma chose this year. However he knows how to sell it! As the season goes on and he gets more comfortable with the program and finishes polishing it, I bet it will be even better. I can't wait to see how it will evolve. :yes2:

I always loved the movie Ladies in Lavender, two amazing actors Judy Dench and Maggie Smith created masterpiece together and the music is stunning, some fans are concerned that this program will be always compared to Mao's 2008 sp, but for me Ladies in lavender will be forever associated and owned by Machida, everytime I hear the music I have Tatsuki in front of my eyes, I am pretty concerned what final result Shoma will put :palmf: :slink:
