Is Swedish fish the same as gefelte fish?

Ghiradelli squares

Gummy Bears or Gummy Worms? (choice provided by my grandson)

No, because Swedish fish is a type of jelly

MW, Swedish fish are gummy candies! Were they around before gummy bears, though? - not sure about that.

Gefillte fish is a Jewish appetizer, usually made from carp & matzah meal (matzah flour). There may be some whitefish or pike mixed into it. We serve it with horseradish, and sometimes we put a carrot slice on top. It's not one of my favorite ethnic foods, but I'll eat it @ a wedding/Bar/Bat Mitzvah if it is served there.

Back to the game - mint chocolate!!!!!!

Ben & Jerry's ice cream or Haagen Daz?

^ Sounds intriguing. :)

I think you really need an acquired taste to like Gefilte Fish! My fishes of choice are salmon & tilapia. In terms of ethnic Jewish foods, I really like kugel - a noodle pudding that can be dairy (cottage cheese & sour cream mixed in), or fruity (raisins, apples, cinnamon).

Black Forest Cake or Devil Food's Cake?

Eclair (Gail, I wasn't talking about candy. I was writing about actual fish from the sea. Lutefisk is what I was confusing with your gefilte fish which actually sounds pretty good to me.)

sticky buns or hot crossed buns?
