Toast to Milan

I didnt see a thread.
Just curious if anyone went or watch the Toast to Milan today.
They had just the U.s.a. olympics team

It is nice.
It is question and answered Adam Rippon hosted did most of talking and answered questions.
They had pair team on a audience ask what next. Spencer Howe answered he plan to compete but read him and Emily Chan parted ways.
Then had dance teams
Madison chock and Evan Bates did most of talking. I like the banter and ease the teams felt.
Then had the men and the ladies.
I am disappointed that the audience was allowed one question. Then moved to dance men, ladies and only one team member response was allowed.

For me it is a bit short for television.
I am curious if any went to it or saw it what their thoughts are.
For me it is nice to see them but their questions and banter seem rehearsed
Like Isabeau pretending not knowing where to sit.

Like he said he like pizza or dance team and costo that he likes.
It a nice store to get bulk in decent prices

Too short.for me if audience ask a question all team members should have answered.
Despite that nice to see them.

It is sad othet countries didn't do for them if nothing else just to commentate and congratulations to them for getting there.
Honoring the athletes that earned it.

It was obviously scripted. Some of the scticks were cute (Vadym Costco) and some fell a bit flat (Isabeau's seat). I wonder if the people asking questions were plants, or at least the questions vetted in advance.

I watched the pairs segment twice, looking for "when Spencer confirmed he was breaking up with Emily". For the record, he didn't do that. He did say that he was going to continue skating, representing the Army and the USA, with no mention of Emily at all. It seems odd for him not to mention her if they were continuing as partners. So an indication, for those who like to read tealeaves (or examine nose shadows), but not an actual confirmation.

As others have mentioned, only one skater was asked most of the audience questions, so none of the other pairs skaters (Emily, Ellie, Danny) said a word about their plans.

I enjoyed it for what it was and yes, Adam was a great moderator and having Jason handle audience Q&A duties was a nice way to include him.

I'm also glad they kept it light and fun and was so happy to see Max laughing after everything he's been through.

It was broadcast on Peacock, and a replay was up, and might still be up. The live broadcast from Colorado was originally noted on Peacock schedule for June 2, but reported on social media for May 31. But then it happened on May 30. I'm glad there was a replay. In any case, U.S. figsk is now making the full broadcast available via YouTube.

Adam Rippon is a good, quick-witted host who knows the skaters well, obviously. Plus, Jason Brown was an excellent audience co-host, gathering fun questions. It was nice seeing all the skaters, who were obviously enjoying their post-Olympics high and their bonding, fun-filled SOI tour.

You mean you 'read' body language? Neither Spencer nor Emily confirmed anything about splitting up. Later, at the Thailand pairs workshop, Emily and Spencer skated together, in addition to Emily demonstrating a lift and other pairs elements with Timmy Chapman.

Sometimes people read too much into what skaters say.

Earlier this year, Canadian fans were worried because of something Lea and/or Trennt said about "they hadn't looked beyond this season". Thank goodness they later announced that they are continuing!

And on the European front, people were afraid Volodin was retiring or breaking up with Hase because he said something about "she still has a lot to achieve" instead of "we ........". Opinions were divided over whether he was implying something or merely had a poor command of English pronouns. There was so much speculation that they eventually issued a statement that they are continuing as a pair for 4 more years. Hooray!

As far as Chan/Howe are concerned, we'll just have to wait and see. I'm eagerly awaiting the GP assignments for some news of many potential/rumored pairs/dance duos.
