Koshiro's R+J is the DiCaprio version with vocals (for Kissing You).

Rika's new costume looks like a red and black version of her Quidam costume.

I didn't recognize Yuna Shiraiwa on this photo :eekn:

Well, unless I see him in person, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. At first I thought he looked like a clown or a court jester! Rika looks cute! Maybe it's only me being obsessed with costumes! :laugh:

I think I'm going to love Taka's flamenco music. Maybe it will help me forget ( or make me like) the costume. I love flamenco.
 
Does anyone of them have a drastic change in layout? Or most of them do similar layout to last season?
(Though probably some of them do a watered down layout for shows, but maybe some also hint their actual competition layout?) :)

Satoko Miyahara has moved her 3-3 combination in the second half of her SP and also added a 3-3 in the second half of her FS.

Thanks! So 3Lz3T would be moved to the 2nd half for SP and I am assuming she will do a new 3-3 instead of doing 3Lz3T in the 2nd half of FP? (3S3T? Not sure if she will do 3F3T because of edge call issues)

I think the FS will be 3Lz-2T-2Lo / 3Lz-3T and only one 2A-3T

I don't know if it's been posted here before, but during the broadcast of NYOI in January, the announcer said that she was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) after she returned from JGPF and was hospitalised for the rest of the year. I'm not familiar with JIA at all, but I hope it's something she can overcome with good medicine. It's good to see that she's well enough to skate in front of an audience.

Just to follow up on information regarding Mai, she skated to the Cinderella soundtrack at the exhibition yesterday. Probably her new FS. Besides some pops, she was jumping triples. Hopefully there is no need to be concerned.
Ryuju skated to the Armenian Rhapsody SP. He said in a magazine that he’s keeping it this season.

Sena Miyake competed at a local competition today. I think he kept last season’s FS, Child of Nazareth.
1A, 3Lz, 3F, 3Lo, 3A, 3Lz3T, 3S, 2A
He popped the first 3A and couldn't add a combo on the 3Lz so he did them both in the 2nd half! :clap:
Score: 118.11

Shun Sato’s also been landing 3A< at DOI as well.

I hope she does well. I was also hoping for Wakaba and Dad Keiji. But with Mao and Shoma, I better not complain! :laugh: Someone was guessing that Mao would get Skate America, and I remember thinking "No, not possible!"

So you got tickets expecting/hoping/praying to see Shoma and got Mao for free! (just talking about TJ here)
I'd love to go to NHK Trophy this year if it's possible at all but just thinking about the fight to get tickets makes me feel dizzy.

I like Sena's Child of Nazareth. I'm happy if he keeps it this season. I also want Koshiro to keep his SP "Tosca". But I don't know about this :think:

I like Koshiro Tosca too and wouldn’t have minded him keeping it except he said in his interview (posted on his fan thread) that he’s had it for 3 seasons! I just looked up “Koshiro SP” on twitter and found out that his SP will be Quidam. Ryuju’s new FS is also Quidam. Team Japan does it again :laugh2: Let’s just hope they chose different music pieces.
