Satoko Miyahara

Now, the hair: Do we get Star Wars buns or Empire Strikes Back braids on top of her head? Lol.

At this point I'm just praying it's won't be pulled back again. For both programs. Her EX showed how much a different hairstyle and a classy dress can change her appearance.

The waltz in La Boheme is meant to be quite flirty and coquettish, if I recall, so hopefully she'll get to channel some of that in the choreo.

I think this could be a great choice for her! I thought her exhibition at Worlds (?) (with the umbrella) was really charming. If she can show something of that side of herself in competition, I think she could wow with this.

Her most recent exhibition is even better than Pennies From Heaven (the one with the umbrella).

Here's a thing I don't understand from her interview: she says her FS music will be Jupiter and Star Wars; but the theme will be Greek Gods and... Venus? What's that? The Roman goddess? The planet? The piece of music from The Planets suite? Help, she's turning into the female Machida. :drama:

As crazy as it sounds i have faith in Tom's choreography  some choreographers and skaters are perfect eachother and i think Satoko and Tom is an example of that, i think program sounds daring and exciting! :yahoo: i cant wait!

I'm already picturing her in a Greek goddess dress :rofl2:

From the Figure Skating Memorial magazine, Satoko and Rika Kihira

Rika Kihira says "Thanks to the skillful seniors in our team (Hamada), the juniors can also work hard. Satoko-chan creates such an atmosphere so that (we) want to become stronger."

Maybe Satoko will be inspired by Rika's 3A and will introduce it in her own programs... one can dream. :dbana:

Who knows? Even if she doesn't have the 3A by 2018, she may later. :) Of course, she still needs to keep working on her jumps, but it's too early to foresee what may happen.

Satoko is attending JSF camp with Uno , Tanaka, Murakami K and other TJ skaters for 3 weeks, Stephane Lambiel is re-invited as a coach to work with them. Satoko said she wants to get more confidence and give as many perfect programs as possible , As the theme for her program is "strong, confident woman" she will try to show it the best way she can.
Good Luck Satton

Thank you for posting. Is Shoma saying anything exciting? Also, any idea if Stephane speaks Japanese?

Shoma said he will do quad flip if the success rate is high during the summer camp , he said he is amazed by stephane's fluid body movements and his spins. they look so effortless, As I have understood Stephan is teaching them how to express different genres of music with body, hands and feet. I doubt Stephane speaks Japanese :confused2:
