Btw, Diana is not at this camp so we'll be lucky if we even get one decent sized photo
But I do expect video from the gala this time. The programs should be finalized by now.

Edit:
I loved her skating when I was a kid so this pleases me.
Inside Skating has an article on Misha Ge. He was at the Tartu camp for 5 days in May. This is the portion relevant to Sasha:
"There were many difficulties because of this short period of time. I only slept around 3 hours per night, because I had to search for music, then we listened to it at the rink, then cut it, choreographed it, but maybe they didn’t like it, so back to hotel during the break, search for new ones, repeat, and few days like that non stop… Sometimes I was still cutting music at 1am, sometimes I woke up at 5am and started working on it and do more research. But at the end, I choreographed two full FPs for Artur Dmitriev and Alexander Petrov."
I don't know for sure if Mishin is keeping the FP choreographed by Ge but at the moment it looks to be that way.

Which kind of suggests to me that there were virtually no photos of him in that fsrussia article because the editor simply did not choose any, not because no good ones were taken. Those photos are great! And Sasha does look happy... (love his beaming smile)
I have given up hope on the possibility of any Richaud choreographed program for the foreseeable future. Now all I wish for is that the music that's been decided upon is good.
) - but I'm feeling more & more resigned to what may come. I too have found myself thinking that I hope the music choice at least is good and fits Sasha - but I can't quite let myself accept "no Richaud program" as yet... But. We will see what we will see. It doesn't really matter much what I think anyway. That FP was basically a rush job (by Misha's own admission). And that is what I'm most unhappy about. If they had selected the music before Misha had arrived in Tartu and given him ample time to do a proper job, I wouldn't be so concerned. But the whole process seems to have been completely experimental. That's not the way to prepare a senior skater's FP in a pre-Olympic season. If they do end up keeping this program, what's going to (or has already) happen is that Prokofieva will just redo it and there won't be much of the original program left by the time the GP series starts. What does a Prokofieva mens program look like? Basically everything Lazukin has done in recent years. Not terrible but hardly anything amazing.I haven't given up (I'm so stubborn donkeys seem reasonable in comparison - I'm also very good at being in denial) - but I'm feeling more & more resigned to what may come. He was under the impression that he would possibly do further work on Liza's programs. But at Courchevel, Sandhu and Richaud were asked to do that instead.Yes, you are right of course. The only hope for that program to retain some of its integrity is if Misha finds the time later in the summer to work more on it with Sasha. The only hint that I've seen that he might work more with Team Mishin soon is in this tweet:
Misha Ge @mishageofficial · May 25
Yesterday worked with Liza Tuktamysheva on her new steps, but today she had to back to St. Petersburg, but might cowork in near future
Of course that isn't an indication of fixed plans, merely a possibility. But hopefully it means that they are at least thinking of it.
But.. We will see.

Of course it doesn't completely rule out the possibility that he might go to SPB later in the year but it's unlikely.
I don't know. And if it was the latter, we will never find out because Sasha does not talk about his skating anymore unless asked specifically in interviews. There is also a third possibility - that Richaud worked with Sasha on SS only.Could it be... ? We know Richaud worked with Sasha at Courchevel. Do you think he did an original program - or was he asked to help with the program Misha had choreographed - that is, do the work that would normally have been handed over to Prokofieva?

That is true. Right now, I'm just placing all my hopes on the music. I'm reading comments on social media that it looks to be a "fun" program. Personally I don't care about "fun" or "no fun". "Fun" is not a standard by which to gauge whether a program is good or not.But at least the program would be better for Richaud working on it rather than Prokofieva. So whether we ever find out or no, at least it would be to the advantage of Sasha. (And if he does well this season, maybe there will be more interviews and someone may ask him.)
