I think I'd be more shocked than anything if he came out with a classic tuxedo costume and not "something like a tuxedo costume but not quite as ordinary" even that POTO costume wasn't exactly classic style and more like an interpretation of a theme. A very sparkly interpretation :luv17: Whatever the costume is, I need it to sparkle (though I don't think that I have to worry too much about him losing his bling arty

With costumes it's like something that you pay a lot of attention to when you're bored and you can never be bored with Yuzu. Whatever he is wearing it is him and his skating what keeps your attention, what matters the most. I love this about him.

Oh no, not a tuxedo, it's as bad as suspendrrs, even for EX. With all due respect for Brezina, he looked like friggin boring in it, all tuxedos look the same and you can't see the body movement very well. I love watching Yuzu's body movement nuances so the last thing I want is to have it hidden by a stiff tuxedo.

I hope he didn't get any ideas from Mura on costuming.

I watch figure skating for pretty stuff: pretty skating, jumps, pretty men, pretty women (*shrug* Every time Kanako Murakami smiles, the world becomes a better place), and, yes, pretty, fun, colorful costumes. I severely dislike plain clothes, and it has the ability to even make me dislike a skater. Call me shallow, but that's how it is for me, and I like Yuzuru partly because he doesn't fear wearing bling bling.

I don't think that's shallow in any way Skater's image on the ice and his/her character perception says a lot about them. It says a lot about their character too. Yuzu was known originally as a bold, unique, genuine, soulful boy thanks to his costumes choices and his skating, he was never afraid to be himself and show his aesthetics/different sides. As for me, even more so than the blingy beauty he brings to the ice, his character is what drew me to this skater judging by his unprecedented tastes. It also separates him from the majority of male skaters

Honestly, it has always been funny to me how many people dislike the R&J 2 costume first time I saw Yuzuru was the SP at Sochi, and I was pretty much blown away right from the start. Then I googled him, the second thing I saw was the R&J 2 costume, and I instantly fell in love with him I loved that it was blingy and different and kind of over the top and that he still looked awesome in it and, mostly, that he had the stones to wear it I love it.

I can't wait to see his new programs and his costumes. I like all of his costumes, especially his one-piece (unitard) with bling, see-through sleeves, like Etude SP, Notre dame de Paris LP, R&J2 LP. I wish not the tuxedo costume. It looks heavy, hot, uncomfortable, like the tuxedo that Mao or Mura wore before. He has a beautiful body to wear something more adjusted to his body. Please don't take the style of Mura, it may suit Mura body, not Yuzuru.
I am happy he comes back to David Wilson, even if it is only for Ex. I think that Wilson is a good choreographer, look at the programs he has made for Yuzuru, Yuna Kim with which they won gold medals at the Olympics. Or Javier who won world gold medal the last 2 years.

I don't believe Yuzu will get rid of the bling in his new costumes. He put golden thread on his Seimei costume and it was enough gorgeous and shining like it had rhinestones and other blingbling. Maybe he'll do the same in his new costumes? I guess we still have to wait and see.
