Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

She is also entered in next week's comp, 1st stage of CoSPB. Preliminary entry.

Thanks! Exciting news - wish her the best, & for us videos so that we can get at least an early stage look at her programs...

Thanks! I don't know... honestly, I really couldn't get a good enough look at the waltz program to see (my eyesight is terrible) and it was all so tiny... I hope that, if there aren't any videos, we'll at least get some sort of report of what she skates to this weekend...

Beautiful photo of Liza with Anastasia Martiusheva:

Anybody know if Nasty has got a partner for her Pairs Skating at the minute?

She could do worse than this one! ;)

Martiusheva is all but retired from competitive skating I think. She's now working on pairs choreography in partnership with Nikita Mikhailov. They did some work for Moskvina's young pairs and some work for Pavlova's young pairs.

Anyway, Liza's group starts at 1.50pm SPB time tomorrow. She's third in the starting order.

Thanks.

I've been seeing on Anastasia's Facebook over the past couple of years that she has been doing a lot of shows. And, whereas for a lot of that time she was performing as a Singles skater, I noticed that recently she has also been performing as part of a Pair's partnership. So, that started me wondering a.) who he was, and b.) if there was any chance of her returning to competition.

Getting back to Liza, and all the best to her in St. Petersburg, as well as the Nebelhorn.

Looking forward to seeing her back in action.

Thank you! Liza looks in great shape! Transition from Mozart to tango is unusual - and she looks suddenly soo light and elegant with this music choice. Looking forward the new season! I have a feeling it will be successful for Liza!
Edit: just noticed it was a double in combo... :(

I really don't get this SP. The Mozart piece part is way too attached to Papadakis/Cizeron masterpiece, and Liza is nowhere close to making it memorable, it needs a lot of work. I know this is only the beginning of the season, so she has time to improve her program before her first GP, but her SP really doesn't get to me for now. :(

I like it. It's both in Liza's comfort zone - yet somewhat different at the same time. A little softer than what she usually has. I hope this will grow as the season goes along.:)

What I'm wondering about is the jump layout. Combo, 3lz, 2A. Is she not planning to do a 3A?

I am wondering the same thing myself....
I don't think she will go for a 3A in the second half...
That's a pity...
I don't wanna sound mean but the 3A is the only element that makeS Liza a top contender for Gold... Without that she is only a low-avarage skater :(
She neither has a solid 3T-3T :noshake:

Well, let's just wait and see what happens. It's just the beginning of the season.

Apparently they had an equipment malfunction at the Academy of Figure Skating so noone in the audience knew the scores. I don't know whether there will be protocols either.

Liza was in a bad shape last season, but that does not mean she has no solid 3T-3T. It is still early in the season, so making any prediction/judgment now is very difficult. My guess is that she may most likely attempt the 3A in her LP. Actually I am only worried about the costumes to be designed for her programs.
