I’m afraid “(about a month before Worlds)” in the translation is a typo. Original text in Aoi honoo is “(世界選手権から1ヶ月間ほど)”, which means “(about a month after Worlds)” He said he was feeling refreshed at the end of the Worlds, but deep inside he probably had some regrets, because he had repeatedly become second in his dreams.
However, translating a book in a short time is really hard. And Japanese and English are very different languages. It took me about an hour to write this short post in English

That is still quite a lot considering his time to even film the CM for all that he still currently endorses is limited.
What about ANA? I thought he endorses ANA? or ANA is just a corporate sponsor? Thanks for the info, Alia!
P.S : Under armor should endorse yuzuru, just because
Wasn't the Guiness World Record certificate presentation done with ANA?

She has an insider at The Cricket so she knows a lot more about Yuzuru than you and I but she will cryptically give you hints if you are nice.
Does anyone know if any more events are scheduled at the ice rink in Sendai for this month? He's got to come back before the end of September if he's going to skate at Autumn Classic.

There are probably more insiders than you'd think, but we just don't come out of the woodwork.

Hanyu did therapy for his left foot ligament in Toronto at a Japanese specialist still begin of August.
Hanyu's Sp und FS music is to be announced on 13th of September in a press conference.
The author ( Klaus-Reinhold Kany) said: Hanyu tried a lot of quads except Axel and toeloop, stood a lot but some landed on his ...ahem...butt ( Hosenboden in German).
Hanyu wasn't allowed to give an interwiew to Mr Kany because that would only be possible after a previous OK from the Japanese federation, but Hanyu liked that he was on the cover of the "pirouette" of July/August.
Orser : Hanyu was avoiding 4 T and would train the other quads because of this. The rate with 4 Lo and 4 S was 70% and these quads he wanted to show in FS.
Orser confirmed also the Autum-Classic - participation.

Yuzu is an Olympic Gold Medalist and a smart student of a prestigious University (Waseda), but still is banned from media and can't speak if not "legally" approved by JSF , while even unknown TCC teen skaters are allowed to talk about him… poor boy , he must be really strong minded and his love for skating is certainly immense ! :shocked:

Insiders are mostly people who have some connections to the figure skating world. Some have kids in skating. Some are friends with skaters. Some are friends with parents of skaters. Some know people who work with companies that interview skaters. Most Yuzuru fans who are insiders appear to know people who train with him. Hope that clarifies the situation.
Wow 70% is good!! Way to go Yuzuru! But damn the JSF/ANA really do control him. Thanks for sharing the info.

The most important part would be that he is supposed to announce his program/music by September 13th!! Can't wait! Hope they will not cancel this, hahaha.
70% is good for a quad, hope he nails it in competition.
Actually, I don't find him attempting 4F to be odd at all. He seems to kind of, sort of, correct his flip edge last season; and considering he has attempt all quads (even the Axel!!!) I really don't see why he would completely never try a 4F. Yuzu avoiding 4T is kind of understandable considering his injury?

I guess they mistook 4T and 4F but we shall see.Some of his info are a bit questionable tbh, he didn't try 4T but tried 4F? I will never believe Yuzu tried 4F
Sorry, it was "except the Axel", so no quad Axel. And the Flip: I translated word for word, my deduction: He must have tried 4F. Maybe because he thought if Shoma Uno can do it and its recognised as 4 F I can do it also.
4T: Nothing is written if he will bring 4 T ( without training them) also in his programs.
Oh yes, don't worry, I did not misunderstand the translation. He tried quad axel before during an ice show, there is even a video of it. I was not referring specifically to this interview.

it seems he's a JSF hostage and probably can control very little about his whole career , this makes me understand many strange situations Yuzu went and still goes through and all the times he rebelled trying to protect himself. Now I perfectly understand Machida's akward farwell.
