Thanks for all the Lombardi updates! How nice that somebody was tweeting that out. I'm going to try to get hubby out the door early tomorrow so I'll be ready to watch by 6:45! (mtn time) .

Since hair was mentioned, I have to say that I do like man buns, but it depends on the person and the shape of the face. Don't know yet if I would like that style on Jason. My favorite Jason style was for the 2015 FS. I guess that's what people are calling braids. I thought it complimented the costume.

Sending Jason lots of good vibes for tomorrow!

Probably because the costume for FS is same as for the Sam Smith?

ETA I looked at the tweet - she says "background song" do maybe that's just the music that was playing. I know some people are using it for comp programs this year.

I'm guessing this is a mistranslation/misunderstanding because I just can't imagine Jason swapping out a program at this VERY late stage. It would mean they had completely redone a program in a month. I just don't think they'd do it - and selfishly, I hope NOT FOR THAT WHINY SONG.
 
OK, now that I'm at a conference in the Pacific time zone, will I get up in time to watch Jason *and* prepare for my conference tomorrow? Probably not:biggrin:, so I will depend on good reports.

That has to a bad translation, no Sam Smith in a competitive program for Jason, no no no:disapp:

Looks like Jason has a new costume! I can't copy the link here but you can find it on Facebook if you search for Europe on Ice.

Please please please let it be a replacement for that **** SP costume (it probably isn't but one can wish)
 
I'm so torn. My dislike for all thing Sam Smith knows no bounds, but I actually like the program itself better than Appassionata. Much more slick and mature, less heavy. But having to hear this program all season (along with Vincent Zhou''s, which is also great) is dreadworthy.
 
Saw it! Sad about the fall, but I have to agree with Mrs. P: better program.

And I guess as whiny white guys go, Sam Smith is the least objectionable. Ed Sheehan is worse, and the guy on Adam's new LP should be taken out back and shot to be out of his (and my) misery. Small comfort:noshake:

I dare not start watching the rest, even Grant and SnuggleBat, or reading the Lombardia thread, or I'll never get back to my work.

Well his 3a is still looking good, so that is a positive. And his score was actually pretty good for a fall, at least a ur on the quad and a messy combo. Close to his on in pcs actually.

Yeah, now I think of it that score is actually pretty awesome for what he did. Add 5 points for the quad, 2 for a clean combo and 2 PCS for clean programme...he's easily over 90 with this programme clean

Me too. It looked more than UR to me but the video quality was not the best.
