Nah, no one is worrying (beside Meoima), it's much more about curiosity. I'm not against black, but full black I'm not sure it will work out... but it's easy to be surprised with Yuzu. ... And he'd probably be floating in that shirt.

I have never smiled so much listening to a Prince song!!! I'm not super familiar with him, maybe I'm a bit too young, but I LOVE this music for a short program. It's so much fun! I think it could bring out that silly side of Yuzu and I'm so ready for it.

Just searched hope & legacy joe hisaishi on youtube and there is a playlist of 6 pieces of music created on May 2016 titled under Yuzuru Hanyu. Guess Yuzu will skate to some of those?

I think (?) most of those songs are original works, I mean, as in not composed for movies and so, but just from his studio albums.

View of Silence is from Pretender, that's definitely a studio album, and there's some Piano Stories works in there.

Oh, and one from Porco Rosso, didn't see that one.

*If* he skates to all of them, I have a lot of piano playing to do these coming months, hahahahaha. Wanna be able to play them all perfectly!

I remember Howl Moving Castle having some nice moments. Yuzuu would make great Howl. He'd be even better Haku but he has already done the costume...

I'm paralyzed at the thought of purple ruffles and boobskirt.

I think the opponents of the weird costuming should worry more about the LP. I think Yuzu won't go too crazy for an upbeat rock piece, but the Hisaishi music just invites the ruffles, foam and lace a'la Requiem. (Personally, yes pleae, I want that!)


I like the SP music. I wouldn'd choose this song to listen but it's got the groove and some goot parts so if it gets shortened to 2'30 it could be great.

Makes you wonder, though, about the list. It's an... unusual mix of songs, not your standard Hisaishi fare, at least not that most people would be familiar with (considering he's probably most famous for his animation works).
