It's difficult to make posts to this thread on a less than daily basis because it grows by so many pages, but I'll write some random thoughts.
So many posters here really seem to worry about Yuzuru or seem to have doubts about him. It seems funny to me since this is a fan fest thread that anyone posting in it should need this reminder: he is the best figure skater in the world. The fact that he was injured or didn't win Worlds doesn't change that. I agree with whoever it was who said somewhere back that people were underestimating him (before all this video came out). I am sure that no one would have thought after last year's Skate Canada, "oh he's probably going to add quad salchow and change his combination to quad toe-triple toe," but then that news came out and everyone was floored. He is the best and he wants to continue to be the best.
The other thing is that when people are making comparisons to other skater's planned content, layouts, etc. it seems like some forget what judging system we are operating under, forget that GOE are a thing. No one can touch Yuzuru on quality, not just on jumps, but across all areas. To clarify this statement, I don't mean to say that there might not be skaters who match him in one particular area, but that there is no one else (except maybe Javier) who is executing every aspect of a program at the level he does. Even if Boyang Jin, Mikhail Kolyada, etc, etc, had the same planned content and layout they still wouldn't match him if they all skated at their most perfect.
I think that all these new video clips should help reinforce that he really is untouchable when he is on.
I think that there was such a huge push forward technically that was driven by many skaters last season, and I think we could see a situation where the field as a whole can't really keep up with that momentum (Shoma couldn't manage a single quad flip at his Challenger Series event).
I had thought up all these hypothetical layouts for Yuzuru's long before we knew what it would be. I think we all knew what the first three jumps would be, but I thought maybe he might emulate his idol Plushenko and pull out a 3A-1Lo-3F or perhaps that 3Lz-3L he had worked on. I really thought he would try to get the maximum 7 triples he could perform to maximize his base value. This might come later, or next season, but it seems like even now with his four quads and six triples he is going to have a very intelligently planned free skate. I also think this free skate looks like it will push him artistically.
For anyone interested, here are some numbers:
Short Program BV: 49.75
Short Program maximum score (assuming highest levels achieved, highest GOEs, perfect PCS score): 115.35
Long Program BV: 103.43
Long Program maximum score (assuming highest levels achieved, highest GOEs, perfect PCS score): 234.33
Maximum Total Score (same parameters): 349.68
I do think he will break his records again this season, although perhaps not by as huge margins as he did last season.
As I said earlier, this thread is hard to post in because it grows so quickly, but I didn't see this posted here:

There's actually some missing stuff, but this is pretty incredible to watch.
