Liza's SP score at Nebelhorn Trophy is 65.20 (35.60+29.60). The PCS is way too low, but that is fine.

PCS 1 point ahead of Mai Mihara a senior debutant
I guess she needs to be stable this season, as judges seem to have nulled her PCS reputation as of now.

How do you know it's too low if nobody saw it?

I don't see what you are driving at. The PCS she received today is incompatible with her status as a 2015 WC. What 's wrong with my version? Since we have nothing in common, don't quote my words and make such offensive reply any more!

Offensive? I am a fan of Liza or else I wouldn't be posting here...but I don't believe PCS should be based on reputation, and in any case, she's not the WC any more, and her last season was not great. So how much of a cushion do you think she ought to be getting without even seeing what she did on the ice? I am hardly bashing her, this is just reality. I guess we don't need judges to watch the performance at all before scoring, since the fans can determine PCS without seeing a thing themselves...right?

You are really an insane poster here!

I am not complaining about the judging or whatever, but only stating the fact that her PCS is very low by the standard of a former WC, so what's wrong with that? Did I say the PCS should be based on reputation? Did I say you are bashing her? Did I imply that the judges do not need to watch skaters' showing before scoring? You are just shoving your illusive fallacy into my mouth to humiliate my dignity here. Laugh & quibble to your heart's content, but I don't give a damn!

I am coming to see that this is not the right place where I belong.

I think I like Liza's FS better so hopefully she has an even better performance in the long :yay:

Bummed there hasn't been video of the SP - the one spin looked pretty good in slo-mo

Like the layout with the toe-toe and the lutz/axel in the second half. Keep it simple and get into the free in a position to medal, I say.

I'm not overly concerned with the PCS; it's around where she was at Nebelhorn two years ago and it quickly went up the more consistently she skated.

Yes, I think the main concern is getting those SP demons in check - she can't afford to dig herself too big a hole in the SP. Better to keep it as unintimidating as possible - at least to begin; build her confidence; and later on we might see.

The most important thing is that she landed a 3-3. That's been her biggest hurdle for about a year. It's a step in the right direction.
Hopefully tomorrow the stream will be working.

Is it the first ratified 3T-3T she's hit since Skate Canada? I mentally blocked out what she did at Nationals :drama:

Only second place - but she really gave that performance all she got; things will hopefully just keep on getting better. Cheer up, Liza - I think this program will only keep on growing in power.:)
