Yuzuru Hanyu: 2016-17 Season

Okay, I just saw some pictures of the costume let me get my out of the way.

The white looks great on him + its unique but I agree with the consensus that white on white makes it difficult for me to see his lines. They need to put LOT's more purple bling or color (stripes maybe?) on those pants. I thought the collar was a bow tie at first lol. Love the sleeve cuff's though.

Hanyu said he stepped into a hole when he missed his quad in short. Perhaps from having done the quad there in warmup.

When i heard he was going to skate to Prince, I seriously thought his costume would have ruffles, laces, blings and all. But what is this???? Did Yuzuru just recently came back from a wedding in Montreal as a waiter? I kinda like it, but no way is this the final costume. It's unlike Yuzuru to wear something this simple However, love the SP! It's so much fun!

OK I'm going to say this now: I don't like the costume! (Not so much the design but the coloring is just too white and too bright, you almost can't see because it is matching the ice and background).
Was the 4 loop fully rotated? if so would the ISU officially consider it to be the first one to be landed in competition?

His 4Lo is much tighter than usual, might be borderline?

that was round, not as good as he usually does, but no doubt on rotation there

If it's determined it was fully rotated then yes, the ISU will ratify it. Senior B events are part of the ISU.

I still hope that this is not the final thing and that this costume gets some work done..... a girl can hope. And there's still another chance with the FS costume (*begging for improvement* )

I've been replaying that 4Lo and the rotation is worrying me. It looks borderline but the white skate covers and lack of HD videos make it hard for me to see clearly :reye:

EDIT: Protocols are out 4Lo fully rotated!!! And I had forgotten about the rule change, where parts of the combo can be counted and some other not, so the 3T did count but the 1S didn't.

Ok, that was fun!I think he was nervous, but now he landed 4lo, the next performances are going to be awesome for sure The costume...it's not my taste,maybe I will change the colour of the pants.

I Love his program, especially his 3 A the way he exits. He popped 4 S, but transition before going into 4S was beautiful!!
So much fun!
His white pants were shocking at first, but it looks really cool when he spins because of the mark on the side. So I like it.

Level 4 on Stsq with a +3 GOE though!!!

EDIT : At the same time he lost levels on some spins. Well, room for improvement!
His rotation on the 4Lo seems fine to me. It is not obvious as his usual quad rotation but it does not look UR
