If he was on any other canvas than ice, the costume would be fine. But with a white background you see his upper body, the design on the legs and then the bottom of the skates. Since this program is dependent on every nuance, you miss many of them. The practice version is so much easier to appreciate. Even if he went a light blush pink on the bottom it would be better for viewing...

I do Not see any resemblace to a Javi program with this. Not one bit.

Brian didn't see it before? Haha. No wonder he smiled when he took off his vest after warm up.

I want to see his arms, legs, line, body...he skated so fast and in all white I cannot see his movements :sad21:.

Yesterday tweets, utube comments all are great cannot wait for SP when he practice in UA.

Today the comments are very much different because of the whiteness people cannot see his movements/lines etc. :sad4:

You can't really judge a costume from black and white over exposed GIFs. That's just not fair. Just as if someone was making heavily underexposed B&W GIFs of someone with a black costume. Nobody would be seeing anything. It's just ridiculous.

Sure, the costume is white, but honestly, appart from when it's completely overexposed (which is a camera problem, not a costume problem), I don't have much difficulty seeing it. Considering that at the rinks, a lot of the time, the ice looks more grey than white, it's not like there is absolutely no contrast between the two.

Sure, it's not the same as the same old black that we all know and love.

But if there is one season to take risks and do new things, I think it's the pre-olympic season. Almost everybody else decided to be super boring, Yuzu decided to be exciting and new.

If it really looks too white on your screens, try lowering the luminosity a bit, you will see that it makes a huge difference.

Oh, I'm so with you! Call me entirely egotistical, but I need him to be at his best at Worlds. He can just do whatever he wants before that, but I'd love love love for him to get that Worlds gold medal. So no peaking too early, not again, pretty please.

I also don't like it...I've never been a fan of Prince's music...maybe that's why I'm not feeling it. The costume needs to go - I like colorfull vest but white pants are too much.

To be fair, competition ice in reality is not white, it is coated with a gray color. In photos it does not look ok but in reality the white costumes don't look blendy on the gray ice.

I know about it. I've seen couple competition live (including GPF). White boards didn't help either but I think he would look better in darker costume.

And, why do people think he should wear an outfit like prince? Why not just an outfit of someone dancing to prince?

I kmow not everyone likes the sp music, but give the program a chance. I do not love the free program music, it was elevator music to me at first... but I love the skating to it and the music is growing on me because of the skating... so l love the program anyway.
