I'm quite disappointed in Alexei Mishin now - given how much he admired Yuzu once upon a time, now he's dismissive of his achievements. His latest interview says that 4Lo is nothing special - his student Gachinsky was jumping it years ago when training. Nathan Chen with his 4F and 4 Lz is worth more.
Even Russian fans are angry at the Professor.

I guess Zoueva sent him a good American Whiskey don't blame him, or he was on good media trolling mode , forgive him

Well... you know that Mishin is a professional troller. It's hard to say when he is truthful and when he is trolling.

I didn't know that - I thought he was a professional coach with enough achievements not to feel any need to put anyone down. :) Turns out I was mistaken and he's got loads of insecurities.

Yeah, right, and he was drunk when he said those words! :D

You know He can't troll now with Zhenia coming back TV series Season 111 Episode 19, so he needs something amusing and entertaining to troll media

The sport journalists call him almost every hour to ask for interviews and opinions so occasionally he trolls them a bit. That's why don't believe everything with "per Mishin's words" as Mishin himself might not even believe it lol.

OK, there's always Liza whose vengeance he can promise. Let him get down to work with her.

Oh poor thing. What an entertainer then!

Who cares, still waiting to see anyone other to do nothing special 4lo from spread eagle  If 4lo is so easy then I guess we would be seeing more than 1 skater succesfully landing it in competition. We saw 3 skaters landing quad lutz, so which one is more rare ?

A Russian coach said, quad loop is the hardest to land (Aside from the quad axel). His reason is that, yes it's easier to do 3Lo than 3F or 3Lz but quad requires extra power and technique. Quad loop doesn't have the power from toe pick to help you up like other toe assisted quad, so it's harder to get full rotations with quad loop.

Edit: that Russian coach is Evgeni Rukavicin, Dimitri Aliev's coach.

Yes, it was funny seeing them contradict each other. Rukavitsin sounded quite resentful too in fact that it should have been Yuzuru's jump to be ratified first, not his student's or not Krasnozhon's :)
Ah well, there's no one among Russian male skaters to challenge Yuzuru so far - so they're jealous. :)

I definitely think quad loop is more tricky than others. Even Oda talked something that if you will put too much energy on take off you will just slip from it

I think the difficulty of 4Lo is less about power and way more about control. It's really hard to control the axis and the form of this jump. I don't think it requires a lot of physical strength to jump it, I remember Yuzu said something like this. He must jump it with a certain feeling and not overdo it with power. One hella tricky jump for sure.

I remember reading an interview of Rukavicin (it was after worlds, i think) and he actually have nothing but praise for Yuzuru. Or did he have another interview?
