You know, watching the men today, I will say that Yuzuru wasn't half bad at all at AC, almost a month ago. Even with that huge pop he would be less than a point away from the leader today. Fingers crossed for SC, I am really looking forward to next week! :agree:

I am both sad and not when it comes to Mao because I think it's pretty obvious she's bothered by injury and missing the GPF could potentially be a great thing for her to heal properly. It's why I want Yuzuru to pay extra attention to that bit too. Just who cares what his pace is, there's no need to rush for the GPF, if his health is ok come World's.

Also, tech panels seem to be going to be very strict this season. No men pass the 90pts mark in the SP yet and no ladies pass the 200 mark total score for SA.

Tetsuya Kumakawa, former principal Dancer with the Royal Ballet said this about Yuzuru:

"Yuzuru Hanyu not only has a beautiful body, but his landings are graceful. This is because he mastered the plié in ballet terms. To be able to jump high you need to master. this. In his case, his awareness extends to a place beyond the ground (ice)."

I saw Kumakawa with the Royal Ballet & with his own company. He was a virtuosic jumper & turner - one of the best ballet dancers I've ever seen. His is high praise indeed for Yuzuru.

Your gifts and the Yuzu banner are beautiful. Happy to know I am ‘eligible’ for getting your gift though I won’t go there (I live in a city far away from Canada).

I’m very envious that you can see Yuzuru in person.

Though just becoming his fan since 2016 World, I hope I can see his LIVE competitions or shows in person at least once in the near future.:luv17:
