:yahoo::yahoo: ok, going two work two days without sleep, totally doable :coffee:

The only issue i have with the schedule is that for the practices i'm going to be working, and thanks to ACI i went way over my data bill because i was streaming the first day from my phone... I will suffer with NHK and GPF, especially because i was planning a trip and turns out it would be right in the middle of GPF :sad4:

:sad21: oh dear, it must be driving you nuts. I know because I'm going to miss the cup of china and the europeans :hpull::gaah::gaah:

Hi dear Yuzu fans :)
As this thread is an endless source of information about Yuzuru, I thought you could help me. I'm actively looking for an old interview made after FP at the 2013 Eric Bompard Trophy by the Japanese TV. I found some YTB links provided by fans in the earliest pages of this thread but they apperared not to be working anymore as TV-Asahi made requests about copyright violation. I looked on the web but all the links had the same problem :(
It's difficult for me to do my research since I'm not a Japanese speaker (so even less a reader :laugh2:) so I ask for all your experience, all kind of help, advice, whatever would be very very appreciated!
:thank: in advance

Oda's so cute. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4yu8zy_161025-gps番宣-2min-③-新プ% E3% 83% AD% E3% 82% B 0% E3% 83% A9% E3% 83% A0% E3% 81% AF% E3% 81% 93% E3% 81% E2 E6%%% 9B B2_sport
I'm praying and I am part of the great positive energy flow that exists here and is about it, wishing it to be very, very happy this season. I trust Yuzu. I believe he can win. Yuzu is not perfect, but is ready for the fight. Yuzu gambatte! Gambatte! Go in search of victory. We will always be here to support you. I'm very anxious to see their programs again and twist and shout for him every second. I'm ready and my heart too.
I'm hearing these every morning. I Love...

Hopefully his stamina improved enough for Skate Canada.
I am not worried about jumps. It seems he is not struggling with them at all judging by AC practices ( well, maybe 3lz sometimes :laugh2:)
But if he is stronger already than AC I think he will deliver well

I have better feeling about SP than LP he seems more used to it. I understand that it will take a bit more time for him to catch up as he spent a lot of time off ice, programs need more polish and he needs a loot of stamina for LP. What concerns me the most recently is 4S3T combo, he hasn't landed it yet in competition. He missed the one in Boston and missed both at SCAC...

More reason to question if Yuzuru can do well at SC... lol

SC is just in a couple of days. We'll then know how things unfold and his state then. Let's have faith in our sweet prince. :hap10: :o:

I trust Yuzu. Yes he lost much training time, and maybe he won't do his top game (though he can do it, and we know the will he has), but I believe in him to deliver enough. :)
I also really look forward to his EX. Will it be jazzy (as he told Shizuka he wished to do jazzy one day for an EX) or something else?
.... and the costume for it?

The first was the pop due to the hole though, I am not sure I'd count that one. I am kind of zen about the jumps, strange as it seems, it's the stamina that concerns me. Everything is affected by it, we saw how his spins suffered and the choreo did too. It's why I can't wait for the SP, we should have a better idea then how it's all going. Fingers crossed.

I think one month should have been enough to build up more stamina, I am kind of zen as well, having pretty good feelings especially about SP. Anyways I am more interested in the second half of season , so even if he struggles gp period but finds a way to peak by wc and 4cc, I am fine with this. Hope he is healthy and his injuries are gone, he was suffering from ankle sprain as well at SCAC, At most I am kind of expecting clean (ish) sp and significantly improved LP. (not clean though)

Yup, that's exactly how I feel. A month should be enough to give him enough improvement for a decent SP because even at the AC, I had the feeling that he could squeeze it out already, apart from that one unfortunate moment. The FS is a question mark but if I were to talk about my wish, I hope he can pull off the spins properly this time around and in general have enough stamina to give us a decent glimpse of how it should all look. Definitely not clean but it's not needed at this time of the year. Easy does it. ;)

A translation done by Angelica from facebook group:

The certification ceremony was actually planned to be held in spring. It was pushed to later because of waiting for him to recover from injury. Hanyu’s left foot recovered slowly. Because of that, he must have been deeply troubled. During days when he could not jump well, he mumbled, “If only wings grew on my back.”
In the past, I heard from skaters abroad, ‘if you are away from the rink for 3 days, the control of the body becomes difficult’. That is how complex figure skating is. For Hanyu, there was a period that he could not go into the rink at all. And there was a period that his jumps were limited. Jumps are supported by delicate balance. Hanyu must have fought against impatience and frustration. It would also affect the completion of the programmes (for competition). However, 4 months after Worlds, Hanyu is again able to jump like he did before.

Exactly my feeling with the SP vs LP and also the 4S -3T combo. I have a feeling he would do a clean short even though he hasn't landed the 4S-3T in competition yet because the fast music helps with his jumps and he would be less tired. I don't think he'll do it in the LP, especially since it's in the second half. I'm always still expecting a pop because his 4S entrance seems hesitant sometimes and it's so dependent on timing to get it right, compared to the 4T.

I was watching his Sochi SP again (because why not? XD) and it still amazes me how high he scores with a one quad program. He has been consistently scoring mid 90s since 2012 with one quad while some others haven't even consistently done that with 2 quads right now. He really is the ultimate king of short programs as he can have the highest quality in every element when the time is limited, even though some people still think he just has the advantage because of the jumps and want to limit quads etc.

I'm still looking forward to his clean FP this season though as I love the music and I know he can do it. I think he'll be energized by Shoma's performance and will be in super competitive mood this week. I just hope he can pace himself and not rush for it to be perfect so soon and injure himself again.

I've never had Hanyu dreams before, but i had a very crappy day and slept hugging tightly my Hanyu Pooh-san...
But i had a terrible dream! I dreamt that he had broken his leg :sad21: and had to withdraw from the competitions, i could hear him "Kuyashii, meccha kuyashii" while my soul dropped to the floor. Awful.
Sharing it here because they say that if you share your dreams they don't come true :P

But hey! There are still surprises left this season (I'm looking at you, EX program and costume  )
I am not worried about the jumps, i am more worried about his stamina. I could almost tell you the exact minute i saw in the FS where he started to look like "please let the music end now", he looked so tired and worn towards the second half :( I hope this has improved now that he had time to have a proper practice.
