2016 Skate Canada Men's LP

ughh...it was very nerve wrecking watching him skate. He did his best.

Great jumps (mostly) Yuzuru but I don't see the artistry of skating from one end of the rink to the other setting up jumps. He'll be podium, for sure, but not wow-ing me.

This program is a snooze compared to last year.

Even on an off night he scores close to 100 technically. And there are some gorgeous things in Hanyu's program (that Ina Bauer is TDF!).

I kinda found the program itself to be a bit of a snoozefest.

The first half was kinda slow. He almost looked lost after he popped the combo. I think four quads takes away from the program. Because after those are done he really shines.

Yuzu's 3f out of no where. He landed 3lz
Certainly not his best, but still very impressive esp, the second half.

True. He had to take 2 months off this summer for an injury/operation so he's still getting his stamina back. Plus he has asthma.

That was some very strong jumping with two quads and two axels, even with the quad loop error and double salchow. But the program is not my favourite of his... So mechanical and the focus on the jumping passes made the interpretation pretty flat until the last minute.

Damn the knee landing is scary!!!

But Yuzu and Brian seem pretty pleased with that performance! I love the rain of Pooh's from the sky when he finishes :gclap:

Love Yuzu's costumes, music and interpretation. He and homeland composers seem to be good matches.
